fa عوارض اولین دوره شیمی درمانی در کودکان و نوجوانان مبتلا به لوسمی و ارتباط آن با اطلاعات درمانی مادران: یک مطالعه مقطعی Chemotherapy side effects in children and adolescents with leukemia and their relationship with maternal treatment Knowledge: A cross-sectional study مراقبت‌هاي پرستاري Nursing Care پژوهشي Research زمینه و هدف: علیرغم اثربخشی داروهای شیمی درمانی، آنها میتوانند عوارض متعددی ایجاد کنند. مادران به عنوان یکی از اعضای تیم مراقبتهای بهداشتی، نیازمند اطلاعات کافی در مورد این عوارض هستند. این مطالعه <a name="_Hlk152399437">با هدف تعیین عوارض اولین دوره شیمی درمانی در کودکان و نوجوانان مبتلا به لوسمی و ارتباط آن با اطلاعات درمانی مادران انجام </a>یافته است. روش بررسی: این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی در سال 1402 در مورد 110 نفر از مادران و فرزندان 6 تا 18 ساله مبتلا به لوسمی مراجعهکننده به بیمارستان&rlm;های آموزشی تبریز به روش نمونهگیری در دسترس انجام گرفت. از چک لیست عوارض شیمی درمانی انجمن سرطان آمریکا و پرسشنامه اطلاعات والدین دارای فرزند مبتلا به سرطان مطلق و همکاران استفاده شد. داده‌ها در نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 24 با آزمون‌های کای‌اسکوئر، آنالیز واریانس یک‌طرفه، تی‌زوجی، آزمون همبستگی پیرسون و Repeated Measure ANOVA تحلیل شد. یافته‌ها: میانگین سنی مادران 46/37 سال و فرزندان 61/11 سال بود و بیش‌تر آنها مبتلا به لوسمی لنفوسیتیک حاد (ALL) بودند. شدت عوارض برای تب، تهوع، استفراغ، زخم دهانی، اسهال، بی‌اشتهایی و خونریزی در طول دوره (4 هفته) روند افزایش معناداری را نشان داد (001/0>p). بین اطلاعات درمانی مادران در هفته اول و هفته چهارم اختلاف معناداری مشاهده شد (001/0p<). ارتباط معناداری بین عوارض شیمی درمانی و اطلاعات مادران وجود داشت (05/0p<). نتیجه‌گیری: مادران در طول دریافت شیمی درمانی فعالانه در جستجوی اطلاعات درمانی بودند و اطلاعات آنها با شدت گرفتن عوارض، بیش‌تر میشد. آگاهی از عوارض و راهبردهای کنترل آن به والدین در مراقبت درست از فرزند خود و به مراقبان در ارایه بهترین مشاوره و حمایت از بیماران و همچنین والدین آنها در طول درمان کمک میکند.   Background & Aim: Although chemotherapy is effective in treating leukemia, it is associated with multiple adverse effects. Mothers, as key members of the healthcare team, need adequate information regarding these side effects to provide optimal care. This study aimed to investigate the side effects of chemotherapy in pediatric and adolescent leukemia patients and examine their relationship with maternal treatment knowledge. Methods & Materials: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted in 2023 and involved 110 mothers and their children aged 6-18 years hospitalized for leukemia at educational hospitals in Tabriz. A convenience sampling method was employed. Data collection instruments included the American Cancer Society's chemotherapy side effects checklist and an information questionnaire for parents of children with cancer, developed by Motlagh et al. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 24, applying chi-square tests, one-way ANOVA, paired t-tests, Pearson correlation coefficients, and repeated measures ANOVA. Results: The mean age of mothers was 37 years, and that of the children was 11.61 years. The majority of diagnoses were Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The severity of complications—such as fever, nausea, vomiting, mouth mucositis, diarrhea, anorexia, and bleeding—showed a significant increasing trend over the four-week observation period (P<0.001). Additionally, a significant difference was observed in mothers' treatment knowledge between the first and fourth weeks (P<0.001). There was a significant relationship between chemotherapy complications and mothers' treatment knowledge (P<0.05). Conclusion: Mothers actively seek and obtain information regarding their children’s chemotherapy treatment, with their knowledge increasing as complication severity rises.
