fa اثرات پساب واحدهای آب شیرین‌کن تخلیه شده به محیط زیست دریایی شمال خلیج فارس بر بازماندگی و تعادل یونی خرچنگ شناگر آبی، Portunus segnis (Forskal, 1775) Impacts of the seawater desalination plants' discharges on survival and ionic balance of Blue swimmer crab, Portunus segnis (Forskal, 1775), in the northern Persian Gulf عمومى General پژوهشي Research <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: امروزه احداث آب شیرین کن‌ها در سواحل در حال گسترش است، با این حال اطلاعات محدودی درباره اثرات ناشی از تخلیه پساب آنها بر سلامت اکوسیستم دریایی موجود است. از این‌رو پژوهش حاضر به هدف بررسی تأثیر پساب رهاسازی شده این تاسیسات در اکوسیستم ساحلی خلیج فارس بر بازماندگی و تعادل یونی گونه خرچنگ شناگر آبی (P.segnis) تحت شرایط آزمایشگاهی انجام شد. روش بررسی: پساب دو نوع آب شیرین کن فعال در استان هرمزگان با فناوری های اسمز معکوس (RO) و حرارتی (MED) جمع آوری شد. سپس تعداد 75 عدد خرچنگ (P.segnis) با میانگین (±SD) عرض کاراپاس  cm2/18±9/71 و وزن کل g 1/04±61/22 از سواحل بندرعباس زنده گیری به آزمایشگاه منتقل گردید. نمونه ها در 5 تیمار (با 3 تکرار) کاملا تصادفی تیماربندی و به مدت 60 روز تحت آزمایش قرار گرفتند. مرگ و میر نمونه ها ثبت و در پایان از همولنف نمونه ها جهت اندازه گیری الکترولیت های بدن (سدیم، کلسیم، منیزیم و پتاسیم) نمونه برداری شد. یافته‌ها: میزان بقا خرچنگ ها در تیمارهای پساب نسبت به تیمار شاهد (86 درصد) کاهش یافت که این کاهش در تیمارهای RO 100 درصد وMED  100 درصد به‌ترتیب با مقادیر 46/7 درصد و 40 درصد بسیار محسوس بود (0/01>p). همچنین سطح الکترولیت‌های مورد بررسی نسبت به تیمار شاهد یک روند افزایشی را نشان داد که این افزایش در تیمارهایRO 100 درصد وMED  100 درصد شدیدتر بود (0/01>p). نتیجه‌گیری: آزمایش حاضر نشان داد که تخلیه پساب آب شیرین کن‌ها باعث بروز تغییرات فیزیولوژیک در موجودات آبزی می شود که در محیط طبیعی با هم افزایی سایر استرس های اکولوژیک می تواند به مراتب اثرات شدیدتری داشته باشد. بنابراین ضرورت دارد که مدیران اجرایی برای به حداقل رساندن اثرات زیست محیطی پساب واحدهای آب شیرین کن تدبیری بیاندیشند، چرا که پیشگیری بهتر از درمان است.  </div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Objective: Nowadays, the demand for seawater desalination plants (SDPs) has risen worldwide. However, there is a lack of knowledge on the effects of discharging the SDPs brines into the Persian Gulf marine environment and its aquatics health. Therefore, this research was performed to examine the effects of SDPs brines discharged from this facility in the ecosystem of the Persian Gulf on survival and electrolytes in the Blue swimmer crab, Portunus segnis (Forskal,1775) under laboratory conditions. Materials and Methods: Brines of two types of active SDPs in Hormozgan were collected; then,75 crabs of (P.segnis), with mean (±SD) carapace width of 9.71±2.18 cm and total weight of 61.22±1.04 g, were collected and transported to the laboratory from the Bandar Abbas coast. As a completely randomized design, the samples were tested in 5 treatments (with three repetitions). Mortality was recorded, and at the end of the experimental period (60 days),the level of some electrolytes of the hemolymph (sodium, calcium, magnesium, and potassium) was measured. Results: Crabs' survival percentage in treatments containing SDPs effluent decreased compared to control (86%), which was more evident in RO 100% and MED 100% treatments with 46.7% and 40%, respectively (p <0.01). The examined electrolyte levels in treatments containing SDPs brine increased compared to control, which were more significant for RO 100% and MED 100% treatments (p <0.01). Conclusion: This study showed that the SDPs brines would have physiological consequences on aquatic organisms. In nature, the synergy of SDPs effluents with other sources of ecological stress will have severe impacts.
