fa بررسی اخلاقی مشارکت پزشک در اجرای مجازات‌های قانونی محکومان پژوهشي Research حضور پزشک در عرصه‌های مختلف اجتماع همواره با ملاحظات اخلاقی و حقوقی همراه بوده است. مشارکت پزشک در اجرای مجازات‌های قانونی محکومین، یکی از این عرصه‌هاست که در ارتباط با آن دیدگاه‌های متفاوتی مطرح شده است. در تاریخ پزشکی جهان، همواره پزشکان و فعالین حرفه پزشکی به‌صورت‌های مختلف در اجرای مجازات‌های قانونی مشارکت داشته‌اند اما بعد از ابداع روش تزریق مرگبار، پزشک و علم پزشکی به‌صورت مستقیم در این فرایند دخیل شده‌اند. بعد از ورود مستقیم پزشک به این عرصه موافقان و مخالفان متعددی با ارائه‌ی ادله‌ی مختلف در باب اخلاقی یا غیراخلاقی بودن مشارکت او در اجرای مجازات‌ها اظهار‌نظر کرده‌اند. هم‌چنین، سازمان‌های مرتبط با حرفه‌ی پزشکی نسبت به مشارکت پزشک در اجرای مجازات‌های قانونی اعلام نظر کرده‌اند. در جمهوری اسلامی ایران نیز اگر چه بر اساس قانون مجازات اسلامی و آیین‌نامه‌ی اجرایی این قانون، حضور پزشک در اجرای مجازات مجرمان الزامی است اما در اجرای مستقیم مجازات نقشی ایفا نمی‌کند. در این مقاله با بررسی مهم‌ترین دلایل مخالفان و موافقان به‌عنوان پیشینه‌ی بحث، به بررسی نقش دقیق پزشک در اجرای مجازات قصاص و تحلیل اخلاقی بودن این نقش می‌پردازیم. Presence of physicians in different fields of the society has always been associated with ethical and legal considerations. Physician participation in legal punishment is one of the areas that are associated with different perspectives. In medical history, physicians and medical professionals have participated in legal punishment in different ways, but they have been directly involved with this process after the development of the lethal injection method. Proponents and opponents have discussed the ethical aspects of physician participation in legal punishment, and medical organizations have announced their viewpoints about this subject. In the Islamic Republic of Iran according to the Islamic punishment laws and their implementation regulations, physician participation in legal punishment is necessary, but the physician does not play a direct role in the execution of punishment.
