fa بررسی توزیع فراوانی ضایعات پیگمانته منتشر دهانی در بیماران مراجعه ‌کننده به بخش بیماری‌های دهان دانشکده دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان در سه ‌ماهه اول سال 1398 Evaluation of Frequency Distribution of Oral Diffuse Pigmentation in Patients Presenting to Oral Diseases Department of Isfahan Dental School in Second Three-Month Period of 2019 اپیدمیولوژی Epidemiology پژوهشي Research <div style="border-bottom:solid windowtext 1.0pt; border-top:solid windowtext 1.0pt; border-left:none; border-right:none; padding:1.0pt 0in 1.0pt 0in; margin-right:117px">مقدمه و اهداف: مطالعات اپیدمیولوژیک طیف وسیعی از شیوع ضایعات پیگمانته را در نقاط مختلف جهان و ایران نشان داده ‌اند. هدف مطالعه تعیین توزیع فراوانی ضایعات پیگمانته منتشر دهانی در بیماران مراجعه ‌کننده به بخش بیماری‌های دهان دانشکده دندانپزشکی اصفهان در سه ‌ماهه اول 1398 بود. روش کار: مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی روی 303 بیمار مراجعه ‌کننده به دانشکده دندانپزشکی اصفهان در سه ‌ماهه اول سال 1398 به ‌صورت سرشماری انجام شد. اطلاعات جمعیت ‌شناختی، محل ضایعه، نوع ضایعه در لیستی ثبت شد. اطلاعات توسط SPSS نگارش 22 و با آزمون‌های Chi square، Mann-Whitney، Fisher's  Exact و ضریب همبستگی spearman مورد آنالیز قرار گرفتند. سطح معنی ‌داری آزمون‌های آماری کمتر از 05/0 در نظر گرفته شد. یافته ‌ها: در مطالعه 303 بیمار بررسی شد. 93 نفر(69/30 درصد) دارای ضایعه پیگمانته منتشر بودند. شدت پیگمانتاسیون 54 نفر(58درصد) پیگمانتاسیون خفیف، 13نفر(14 درصد) متوسط، و 26 نفر(28درصد) شدید بودند. شایع‌ترین محل، لثه لبی، شایع‌ترین نوع، فیزیولوژیک بود. بین جنسیت و شیوع پیگمانتاسیون ارتباط معنی ‌داری وجود نداشت(P=0.09) ولی بین جنسیت و شدت پیگمانتاسیون (P=0.047)، سن و شدت پیگمانتاسیون (P<0.001 و r=0.459) و رنگ پوست و نوع پیگمانتاسیون(P<0.001) ارتباط معنی ‌دار وجود داشت. نتیجه ‌گیری: مطالعات نشان داد فراوانی ضایعات پیگمانته منتشر دهانی بیماران مراجعه ‌کننده به دانشکده دندانپزشکی اصفهان قابل ‌توجه است.</div> Background and Objectives: Epidemiological studies have indicated the prevalence of a wide spectrum of diffused pigment lesions throughout the world and Iran. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency distribution of oral diffused pigment lesions in patients presenting to Oral Diseases Department of Isfahan Dental School. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 303 patients presenting to Oral Diseases Department of Isfahan Dental School during the first three-month period of 2019. The demographic data, location of lesions, and type of lesions were recorded in a checklist and analyzed with the SPSS version 22 using Chi square, Mann Whitney test, Fisher's exact test, and spearman correlation coefficient. The level of significance was set at 5%. Results: In this study, 303 patients were examined of whom 93 (30.69%) were diagnosed with diffused pigment lesions. As for the pigmentation severity, the patients were grouped into low, moderate, and high with 54 persons (58%), 13 persons (14%) and 26 persons (28%) in each group, respectively. The most frequent site was labial gingiva and the most common type was the physiologic type. The results showed that gender had no effect on the frequency distribution (P=0.09) but gender and age had significant effects on the severity of pigmentation (P=0.047, r=0.459 and P<0.001 respectively). Skin color had a significant effect on the type of pigmentation (P < 0.001).
