<span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span cen="" mt="" style="font-family:" tw="">Given that exposure to secondhand smoke is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, this policy brief presents strategies for reducing exposure to secondhand smoke in the healthy population and cardiovascular patients. </span></span></span></span></span><br>
<span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span cen="" mt="" style="font-family:" tw="">Reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases caused or aggravated by secondhand smoke exposure and improving health levels requires a multifaceted approach.</span></span></div>
