fa درماتولوژی از منظر بهداشت عمومی عمومى General پژوهشي Research درماتولوژی تمام جنبه‌های بیماری‌هایی را که روی پوست و ضمایم آن شامل مو، ناخن، غدد عرق و غشاهای مخاطی دهانی و تناسلی خارجی رخ می‌دهند را دربرمی‌گیرد. در این رشته تخصصی، قریب 3000 اختلال و بیماری وجود دارد که از نظر سبب‌شناختی طیف گسترده‌ای را دربرمی‌گیرند و برخی از آن‌ها از شیوع و میزان بروز بالایی در جوامع برخوردارند. علی‌رغم شیوع بالای این گروه از بیماری‌ها، که با توجه به درگیر کردن سطح بدن با ایجاد تنش و اضطراب، اختلال کیفیت زندگی و نهایتاً بار بیماری، در سطح فرد و متعاقباً خانواده و اجتماع همراه هستند، غالباً اهمیت این بیماری‌ها از منظر بهداشت عمومی و سلامت جامعه نادیده گرفته می‌شود، بنابراین بر آن شدیم تا بیان مثال‌هایی از وضعیت بیماری‌های مربوط به حیطه‌ی درماتولوژی در کشورها و جمعیت‌های مختلف و تأثیر آن‌ها بر سلامت جامعه، از منظر بار بیماری و اقتصاد سلامت، به دلایل بی‌توجهی به این رشته‌ی مهم که به عواقب نامطلوب متعددی در حیطه‌ی بهداشت عمومی منجر می‌شود، بپردازیم. هم‌چنین، راهبردهایی نیز برای اصلاح وضع موجود پیشنهاد می‌شود.</p> </span> <p style="text-align: justify">Dermatology is a branch of medicine which is related to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the diseases and disorders that affect the skin and its appendages including hair, nail, sweat glands and mucosal surfaces of mouth and external genitalia. There are about 3000 clinical entities in the field of dermatology, which are very diverse in terms of their etiologies. Although some of these diseases are really prevalent and some others of them have high incidence rates and acknowledging that because of their visibility in many cases they are associated with stress, anxiety and impairment of patients' quality of lives, their resultant burden of disease at individual, familial and social levels are usually ignored. Herein, we provide some examples of the adverse public health and health economics effects of different dermatological diseases and disorders in different countries and populations.
