fa مقایسه وضعیت سلامت روانی دندانپزشکان شهرستان شیراز با همتایان پزشک خود با استفاده از پرسشنامه سلامت عمومی ‌(GHQ-28) عمومی general تحقیقی Research <strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong> این مطالعه با هدف تعیین وضعیت سلامت روانی دندانپزشکان شهرستان شیراز انجام شد.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>روش بررسی:</strong> در این مطالعه مقطعی 106 نفر دندانپزشک و 94 نفر پزشک عمومی ‌(گروه مقایسه) از کلینک‌های خصوصی و دولتی شهر شیراز مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. از شرکت‌کنندگان در مطالعه خواسته شد که پرسشنامه استاندارد سلامت عمومی ‌و پرسشنامه مربوط به ویژگی‌های دموگرافیک را تکمیل نمایند. جهت بررسی همسانی ویژگی‌های دموگرافیک و شغلی دو گروه از آزمون‌های Independent t-test و کای دو استفاده شد. با امتیازگذاری پرسشنامه‌ها و محاسبه امتیازات نهایی هر فرد، وضعیت سلامت روانی وی تعیین شد. میانگین امتیاز (GHQ) General Health Questionnaire در دو گروه با استفاده از آزمون‌های آماری مقایسه گردید.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> ازنظر متغیرهای جمعیت شناختی به جز سن دو گروه با یکدیگر یکسان بودند. با درنظر گرفتن امتیاز 23 به عنوان نقطه برش، میانگین امتیاز کل در دندانپزشکان (9/17) و پزشکان (34/16) به شکل معنی‌داری کمتر از این مقدار بود (001/0>P). میانگین امتیاز GHQ در دندانپزشکان در حیطه‌های عوارض جسمانی، اضطراب و بی‌خوابی، عملکرد اجتماعی غیرمعمول و افسردگی شدید با گروه مقایسه ازنظر آماری متفاوت بود. با افزایش سابقه کار امتیاز نهایی GHQ در دندانپزشکان نیز افزایش می‌یابد.</p> <p dir="rtl"><strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> به طورکلی دندانپزشکان از سطح سلامت روانی ضعیف‌تری نسبت به گروه مقایسه برخوردار بوده و در تمام حیطه‌های چهارگانه GHQ امتیازات آنان با همتایان پزشک دارای اختلاف معنی‌دار بود.</p> </span> <p style="text-align: justify"><strong>Background and Aims:</strong><strong> </strong>This study was conducted to assess the psychological health status of dentists in Shiraz city.</p> <p style="text-align: justify"><strong>Materials and Methods: </strong>In this cross-sectional study, subjects consisted of 106 dentists and 94 general practitioners (comparison group) from private and public clinics in Shiraz city. Subjects were requested to complete the standard general health questionnaire and a questionnaire on demographic variables. The data were analyzed by appropriate statistical tests. Chi-Square test and independent sample t-test were used to compare demographic and occupational variables of both groups. The questionnaires were scored and the overall score of each individual determined his/her psychological health status. Means of GHQ scores of both groups were compared using statistical tests.</p> <p style="text-align: justify"><strong>Results: </strong>Both groups were similar in all demographic variables, except for age. The mean total score of GHQ-28 for both dentists (17.9) and physicians (16.34) groups were significantly lower than the cut-off point value of 23 (P <0.01). The means of scores for somatic problems, depression, anxiety and insomnia as well as unusual social performance scales were significantly different between both groups (P<0.05). A significant positive association was found between GHQ total score and job tenure.</p> <p style="text-align: justify"><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Our findings revealed that psychological health status of dentists was poorer than that of physicians.
