fa بررسی اثر محل قرارگیری الکترود پالپ تستر در پاسخ دندان‌های قدامی فک بالا عمومی general تحقیقی Research <strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong> استفاده از پالپ تستر یکی از روش‌هایی است که در ارزیابی حیات پالپ کمک می‌کند. این تست حساسیت تکنیکی بالایی داشته و در صورت عدم استفاده صحیح می‌تواند سبب پاسخ‌های مثبت یا منفی کاذب شود. درخصوص محل مناسب قرار دادن پروب این دستگاه بر دندان‌ها اتفاق‌نظر وجود ندارد. هدف از مطالعه حاضر بررسی اثر محل قرارگیری پالپ تستر در پاسخ دندان‌های قدامی بالا بود<br><strong>روش بررسی:</strong> تعداد 378 دندان (126 سنترال، 126 لترال و 126 کانین) در 67 بیمار داوطلب 20 تا 35 ساله که فرم رضایت‌‌نامه آگاهانه را تکمیل کرده بودند انتخاب شدند. سطوح باکال، لینگوال و لبه انسیزال هر دندان به طور جداگانه توسط پالپ تستر الکتریکی تست شد و پس از ثبت داده‌ها با استفاده از روش‌های آمار توصیفی و Repeated Measure ANOVA تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.<br><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> در این مطالعه دندان‌های سنترال نسبت به دندان‌های لترال و کانین به نحو معنی‌داری دارای آستانه حساسیت کمتری بود (001/0>P). همچنین لبه انسیزال در مقایسه با سایر سطوح به نحو معنی‌داری با تحریک کمتری پاسخ ‌داد (008/0=P).<br><strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که بهترین محل جهت قرار دادن الکترود پالپ تستر در دندان، لبه انسیزال بود.<p></p></span /> <p style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><strong>Background and Aims:</strong><strong> </strong>Electric pulp testing is used for diagnosis of the pulp status. This test is technique sensitive and hence may elicit positive or negative false response in case of inaccurate use. The optimal site for placement of the probe tip has not been determined. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of pulp tester probe placement site on the response of maxillary teeth.<br><strong>Materials and Methods: </strong>A total of 378 teeth (126 central incisors, 126 lateral incisors and 126 canines) in 67 voluntary 20-35 year-old patients were selected. Three sites on each tooth (incisal edge, labial and lingual surfaces) were tested with an electrical pulp tester and responses were recorded. Data were analyzed by Repeated Measure ANOVA test.<br><strong>Results: </strong>The central teeth showed significantly lower sensation threshold than lateral and canine teeth (P<0.001).
