fa بررسی اثر سن بیمار بر پاسخ دندان به پالپ تستر الکتریکی عمومی general تحقیقی Research <p align="justify"> <strong> زمینه و هدف: </strong>پالپ تستر الکتریکی ابزاری ارزشمند برای بررسی وایتالیتی پالپ دندان است. در مورد پاسخ دندان‌های نابالغ به پالپ تستر الکتریکی اختلاف نظر وجود دارد، که علت آن را عدم تکامل رشته‌های عصبی بیان کرده‌اند. هدف از انجام این مطالعه بررسی اثر سن بر پاسخ دندان به پالپ تستر الکتریکی بود. </p><p align="justify"> <strong> روش بررسی: </strong>در این مطالعه مقطعی 300 دندان سانترال دایمی فک بالا در 150 فرد داوطلب توسط پالپ تستر الکتریکی آزمایش شدند. افراد داوطلب در<br>5 گروه سنی 8-7، 10-9، 12-11، 14-13، 35-30 سال طبقه‌بندی شدند و دندان‌های فاقد پالپ سالم از مطالعه خارج شدند. با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS 16 و آزمون آنالیز واریانس یک طرفه و آزمون Tukey ، داده‌ها را تجزیه و تحلیل نمودیم. </p><p align="justify"> <strong> یافته‌ها: </strong>پاسخ میانگین به پالپ تستر الکتریکی در گروهای سنی 8-7، 10-9، 12-11، 14-13، 35-30 سال به ترتیب: ۱/0 ± 9/2، ۱/0 ± 8/2،<br>۱/0 ± 3/2، ۱/0 ± 2/2، ۱/0 ± 8/1 بود، که نشان می‌دهد با افزایش سن دندان‌ها به درجات پایین‌تر پالپ تستر الکتریکی پاسخ می‌دهند. در گروه‌های سنی زیر<br>14 سال بین گروه‌های مجاور اختلاف معنی‌داری مشاهده نشد (3/0= P )، ولی در گروه‌های سنی زیر 14 سال و گروه بزرگسال اختلاف معنی‌دار بود (001/0 P< ). </p><p align="justify"> <strong> نتیجه‌گیری: </strong>این مطالعه نشان داد که دندان‌های نابالغ به تست الکتریکی به درجات بالاتری جواب می‌دهند، ولی تمام دندان‌ها به پالپ تستر الکتریکی پاسخ دادند. </p> <p align="justify"> <strong> Background and Aims: </strong><strong></strong>Electric pulp tester is a valuable instrument to examine tooth’s pulp vitality. There is no agreement about the response of immature teeth to electric pulp tester and the reason is expressed as the failure of nerve fibers’ development. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of patient’s age on the tooth response to electric pulp tester.<strong></strong> </p><p align="justify"> <strong> Materials and Methods: </strong><strong></strong>In this cross-sectional study, 300 maxillary central permanent teeth in 150 volunteers were examined by using electric pulp tester. The volunteers were classified in 5 age groups of 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-4, and 30-35 and teeth lacking sound and healthy pulp were excluded. Data were analyzed using SPSS-16 software, one-way analysis of variance, and Tuk<a name="_GoBack"></a>ey post hoc test. </p><p align="justify"> <strong> Results: </strong><strong></strong>The average response to electric pulp tester in age groups of 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-4, and 30-35 years old were 2.9±0.1, 2.8±0.1, 2.3±0.1, 2.2±0.1 and 1.8±0.1 ,respectively. This indicated that by increasing teeth age, they responded to lower level of electric pulp tester.
