fa بررسی میزان آگاهی از عوارض شیمی درمانی و اشعه درمانی در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان‌های ناحیه سر و گردن مراجعه کننده به مراکز درمانی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کرمان عمومی general تحقیقی Research <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">زمینه و هدف:</span></span></strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"> سرطان سومین علت مرگ و میر بعد از بیماری‌های قلبی و تصادفات در ایران است. اشعه درمانی و شیمی درمانی مؤثرترین روش‌ها در درمان سرطان هستند، اما عوارض جانبی آن‌ها هنوز برای بسیاری از بیماران ناشناخته است. هدف اصلی از این مطالعه ارزیابی آگاهی بیماران مبتلا به سرطان‌های ناحیه سر و گردن از عوارض جانبی اشعه درمانی و شیمی درمانی بود.</span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">روش بررسی:</span></span></strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"> این مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی بر اساس اطلاعات به دست آمده از پرسشنامه و پرونده بیماران مبتلا به سرطان ارجاع داده شده به مراکز درمانی وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کرمان در یک بازه زمانی شش ماهه انجام شد.</span> <span style="font-family:b mitra;">آنالیز داده‌ها با تست </span><span dir="LTR"><span style="font-family:times new roman,serif;"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;">chi-square</span></span></span><span style="font-family:b mitra;"> و در سطح معنی‌داری 05/0 انجام گرفت.</span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">یافته‌ها:</span></span></strong> <span style="font-family:b mitra;">نتایج حاصل نشان داد که اکثر بیماران (48/76%) سطح آگاهی ضعیفی داشتند. ارتباطی بین سطح آگاهی با متغیرهای دموگرافیک وجود نداشت </span><span style="font-family:b mitra;">(05/0</span><span dir="LTR"><span style="font-family:times new roman,serif;"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;">P></span></span></span><span style="font-family:b mitra;">) </span><span style="font-family:b mitra;">اما بیمارانی که مدت زمان بیشتری از بیماریشان می‌گذشت، سطح آگاهی بالاتری داشتند. تنها 10% از بیماران اطلاعات خود را از پزشکشان دریافت کرده بودند.</span><br> <strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">نتیجه‌گیری:</span></span></strong><span style="font-family:b mitra;"> به نظر می‌رسد که متأسفانه آموزش مؤثری در ارتباط با عوارض اشعه درمانی و شیمی درمانی وجود ندارد، چرا که سطح آگاهی بیماران در سطح قابل قبولی قرار نداشت. باتوجه به اهمیت این موضوع، لازم است که برنامه‌های آموزشی برای بیماران در جهت بالا بردن توانایی و مهارت بیماران برای پذیرش و تطابق با شیمی درمانی و اشعه درمانی و عوارض جانبی آن‌ها در نظر گرفته شود.</span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Background and Aims:</strong> Cancer is the 3rd cause of death after heart disease and injuries in Iran. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the most effective procedures in cancer therapy, but their side effects are still unknown for many patients. The main goal of this study was to evaluate the patients&rsquo; knowledge with head and neck cancer regarding the complications of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.<br> <strong>Materials and Methods:</strong> This descriptive-analytical research was based on the information extracted from personal questionnaires and files of cancer patients who referred to the centers of Kerman University of Medical Sciences during a 6 months period in 2017. The data were analyzed by chi-square test at the significance level of 0.05.<br> <strong>Results</strong>: Our findings showed that most of the patients (76.48%) had low information level. There was no statistically significant association between the knowledge with demographic variables (P>0.05). However, patients with chronic disease had higher level of information. Only 10% of patients had received information by their physicians.<br> <strong>Conclusion:</strong> It seems there is not effective education regarding the rated radiotherapy and chemotherapy complications, because their knowledge was not in acceptable level.
