other ارزیابی دانش، نگرش و آموزش دانشجویان سال آخر دندانپزشکی دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی تهران در زمینه مشاوره ترک دخانیات عمومی general تحقیقی Research <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: میزان مرگ و میر بالا و هزینه‌های درمان بیماری‌های ناشی از آن موجب شد تا سازمان جهانی بهداشت بر نقش دندانپزشک در ترک دخانیات بیماران تأکید ویژه‌ای داشته باشد. هدف این مطالعه بررسی دانش دانشجویان نسبت به پیامد استعمال دخانیات بر سلامتی، نگرش آن‌ها نسبت به فعالیت‌های ترک دخانیات و برنامه آموزشی آن‌ها در این زمینه بود.<br> روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی جامعه مورد بررسی دانشجویان سال آخر دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران، شهید بهشتی، آزاد و شاهد بود. از پرسشنامه برای جمع آوری داده‌ها استفاده شد که علاوه بر اطلاعات زمینه‌ای، دانش، نگرش و آموزش دانشجویان در زمینه مشاوره ترک دخانیات در کار دندانپزشکی بررسی گردید. روش نمونه‌گیری سرشماری بود. برای به دست آوردن میانگین نمرات هر بخش از آزمون One-way ANOVA استفاده شد. سپس برای مقایسه میانگین نمرات به صورت دو به دو از آزمون Turkey HSD استفاده شد.<br> یافته‌ها: در مجموع 138 دانشجو در این مطالعه شرکت کرده بودند (میزان پاسخ دهی 100%). از حداکثر نمره قابل کسب در بخش دانش (28 نمره)، میانگین نمره دانش در دانشگاه تهران 8/22، شهید بهشتی 31/20، آزاد 31/22 و شاهد 16/22 بود (027/0P=) که تفاوت آماری در این زمینه معنی‌دار بود، اما میانگین نمره نگرش و برنامه آموزشی دانشجویان تفاوت آماری معنی‌داری با هم نداشت (05/0P>).<br> نتیجه‌گیری: اکثر دانشجویان دانش کافی در مورد خطرات استعمال دخانیات و نگرش مثبت نسبت به مشاوره ترک دخانیات به بیماران داشتند. دانشجویان هنگامی اصول مشاوره ترک دخانیات را در کار آینده خود مورد توجه قرار خواهند داد که به آن اعتقاد داشته باشند. بنابراین برای بهتر شدن عملکرد دانشجویان، باید اهمیت و روش‌های ترک دخانیات در همه حیطه‌ها در دانشکده‌ها و همچنین در بازآموزی‌ها برای دندانپزشکان آموزش داده شود تا دندانپزشکان نقش مؤثری در مشاوره ترک دخانیات در بیماران ایفا کنند.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><br> Background and Aims: Due to high mortality rate and cost of smoking, WHO has emphasized on the role of dentists in smoking cessation among patients. The aim of the present study was to investigate the dental students, knowledge toward health consequences of smoking, their attitude towards smoking cessation activities, and their education programs in this field.<br> Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the target group was senior dental students at Tehran and Shahid Beheshti Universities of Medical Sciences, and Azad and Shahed Universities. A questionnaire was used to collect data in addition to background information, on the knowledge, attitudes, and education towards tobacco cessation counseling in dental practice was administered to the students. The sampling method was census. Data were analyzed using oneway Anova followed by Turkey HSD post-hoc test for pairwise comparison.<br> Results: Overall 138 students participated in this program (The response rate was 100%). Of the maximum achievable knowledge score (28), the average knowledge score in Tehran University was 22.8, in Shahid Beheshti University 20.31, in Azad University 22.31, and in Shahed University 22.16 (P=0.027) with significant statistical differences. However, But the average of attitude and education score of the students did not vary significantly (P>0.05).<br> Conclusion: Most of the students had sufficient knowledge about the risks of tobacco use and positive attitude toward tobacco cessation counseling. It was concluded that the students would only pay attention to the principals of smoking cessation counselling when they actually believe in them.
