fa رویکرد پزشکی مبتنی بر فرد در درمان‌های دندانپزشکی، قابلیت‌ها و چالش‌ها: مقاله مروری عمومی general تحقیقی Research <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong> پیشرفت‌های علم ژنتیک در تکنیک ژنوم، منجر به معرفی سیستم‌های جدید تشخیصی برای مطالعه بیماری یا ارزیابی نتایج درمان بیماری‌ها گردیده است. در این علم که پزشکی مبتنی بر فرد (Personalized Medicine) نامیده می‌شود، از ساختار ژنتیکی افراد برای ارزیابی روش‌های تشخیص بیماری، درمان و حتی پیشگیری از ابتلا استفاده می‌شود. نظر به اینکه مطالعات بسیار محدودی در این خصوص در حوزه بیماری‌های دهان و فک و صورت انجام گرفته است، مطالعه حاضر، با هدف بررسی مزایا و چالش‌های ورود این شاخه جدید از علم پزشکی به درمان‌های دندانپزشکی، انجام گرفت.<br> <strong>روش بررسی:</strong> در این مطالعه برای بررسی جامع قابلیت‌ها و چالش‌های استفاده از دندانپزشکی مبتنی بر فرد (Personalized Dentistry) در درمان‌های دندانپزشکی و همچنین تأثیر آن در تغییر شاخص‌های سلامت دهان، تمام مقالات موجود در این زمینه در منابع اطلاعاتی PubMed، Google scholar، Medline، Scopus، SID و Magiran با کلید واژه‌های مرتبط، جستجو گردید. بر اساس معیارهای ورود و خروج، نتایج 5 مقاله تأیید، بررسی و جمع ‌بندی گردید.<br> <strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> در مقالات بررسی شده، بر فواید استفاده از دندانپزشکی مبتنی بر فرد در درمان‌های دندانپزشکی شامل هدفمند و اختصاصی شدن درمان‌ها و در نتیجه صرف زمان و انرژی و هزینه کمتر و از معایب آن شامل ناشناخته بودن عوامل بیولوژیک تأثیر گذار و همچنین تأثیرات متقاطع برخی عوامل مذکور بر روی یکدیگر و همینطور بر روند درمان اشاره شده بود.<br> <strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> با توجه به وجود دانش‌های تخصصی و ابزارهای تشخیصی اختصاصی بیماری‌های دهان، استفاده از فواید به‌کارگیری دندانپزشکی مبتنی بر فرد می‌تواند اختصاصیت درمان را برای بیماران بالاتر برده و از مضرات جانبی (Side effects) درمان‌های معمول بکاهد و نیز به عنوان گام مؤثری بر اثر بخشی بیشتر درمان‌ها معرفی گردد، هرچند برای رفع چالش‌های آن نیز می‌بایست اقدام نمود.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><br> <strong>Background and Aims:</strong> Advances of genetic science in genomic techniques have led introducing new diagnostic systems to study the diseases or treatment efficacies. In this science, which named &ldquo;Personalized Medicine&rdquo;, human genetic structure is used for evaluation of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Regarding the limited number of studies regarding this issue in Oral & Maxillofacial diseases, this study was aimed to evaluate the benefits and challenges of this new area (Personalized Medicine) in dental treatments.<br> <strong>Materials and Methods</strong>: In this study, complete evaluation of abilities and challenges in order to apply the &ldquo;Personalized Dentistry&rdquo; in Dental treatments, and also its effect on oral health indexes were done. All the existing related articles were searched with the relevant key words in the scientific data bases of PubMed, Google Scholar, Medline, Scopus, SID and Magiran. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 5 articles were selected, assessed and summarized.<br> <strong>Results:</strong> In the evaluated articles, the benefits of &ldquo;Personalized Dentistry&rdquo; in dental treatments as targeted and specialized treatment could result in lower time, energy and cost. In addition, its disadvantage as unknown biologic effective factors and also, the cross effects of some of the above items on each other and the treatment procedures were mentioned.<br> <strong>Conclusion:</strong> Regarding the specialized sciences and diagnostic tools for oral & maxillofacial disease, the benefits of &ldquo;Personalized Dentistry&rdquo; application can be increased for special treatments of patients.
