fa بررسی تأثیر و مقایسه دو نوع پالیش مایع بر خشونت سطحی و دوام پرداخت دو نوع نانو کامپوزیت Evaluating and comparing the effect of two liquid polishes on the polish retention of two nanocomposites ترمیمی operative dentistry كاربردي Applicable <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: اتمام و پرداخت کامپوزیت‌ها یک مرحله مهم و تأثیر گذار در موفقیت کلینیکی ترمیم‌ها می‌باشد. هدف ازاین مطالعه بررسی تأثیر و مقایسه دوام دو نوع پالیش مایع بر روی دو نوع کامپوزیت بود. روش بررسی: 80 نمونه استاندارد دیسکی شکل (mm 2×4) از دو نوع نانو کامپوزیت (هر کامپوزیت 40 عدد) شامل یک کامپوزیت نانوفیل (Filtek Z350 XT-3M ESPE) و یک کامپوزیت نانو هیبرید (Aelite Aesthetic Enamel-Bisco, Inc. Schaumburg, USA) تهیه شد. نمونه‌ها بر اساس روش اتمام و پرداخت به صورت تصادفی به 4 زیرگروه (10n=) تقسیم شدند، M : به عنوان گروه کنترل نمونه‌ها با پلیمریزاسیون زیر نوار سلولوئیدی (Mylar). S: اتمام و پرداخت توسط توالی دیسک‌های Sof-Lex (3M ESPE, USA)، SP: اتمام و پرداخت با دیسک‌های Sof-Lex و استفاده از پالیش مایع Permaseal (Ultradent products, Inc. USA)، SB: اتمام و پرداخت با دیسک‌های Sof-Lex و استفاده از پالیش مایع Bis cover (Bisco, Inc. Schaumburg, USA). نمونه‌ها تحتpH cycling  و Brusihing machine قرار گرفتند و سپس میانگین خشونت سطحی نمونه‌ها (Ra) و میانگین تغییرات پروفایل در طول ناحیه مورد نظر (Rz) توسط دستگاه پروفیلومتر اندازه گیری شد، برای مقایسه میانگین خشونت سطحی در گروه‌های مورد بررسی از آنالیز واریانس دو طرفه و یک طرفه (ANOVA) استفاده شد. سپس از آزمون Tukey برای شناسایی گروه‌های مسئول تفاوت و از آزمون T-test برای مقایسه میانگین خشونت سطحی استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: نوع کامپوزیت و روش پرداخت تأثیری بر روی میانگین Ra نداشت (733/0=P) اما بر روی فاکتور Rz1 دارای تأثیر معنی‌دار بود (025/0=P). نتیجه گیری: استفاده از پالیش مایع پس از کاربرد دیسک‌های پرداخت، تأثیری بر روی دوام پرداخت نانو کامپوزیت‌ها ندارد.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Aims: Finishing and polishing of composites is a critical step influencing the clinical service of restorations. The aim of this article was to evaluate and compare the effect of two liquid polishes on the polish retention of two nanocomposites. Materials and Methods: Eighty standardized disk-shaped specimens (4×2 mm) were prepared from two nanocomposites (n=40), including one nano-filled composite (Filtek Z350 XT-3M ESPE, USA) and one nano-hybrid composite (Aelite Aesthetic Enamel-Bisco, Inc. Schaumburg, USA). The specimens were randomly divided into 4 subgroups (n=10) based on the method of finishing (F) and polishing (P) procedures: M: as control, polymerized under Mylar strip; S: finish and polish with a sequence of Sof-Lex discs (3M ESPE, USA); SP: finish and polish with Sof-Lex discs and use of Permaseal liquid polish (Ultradent products, Inc. USA); SB: finish and polish with Sof-Lex discs and use of Biscover liquid polish (Bisco, Inc. Schaumburg, USA). The specimens were undergone pH cycling and brushing machine and then, the average surface roughness (Ra) and average profile changes along the desired area (Rz) of the specimens were determined with profilometer instrument. Two-way and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the mean of surface roughness. Then, Tukey test was used to identify the groups responsible for the difference and t-test was used to compare the mean of surface roughness. Results: The type of composite and the method of polishing procedure had no effect on the mean Ra (P=0.733) but it had significant effect on Rz1 factor (P=0.025).
