fa ارزیابی دانش و نگرش پزشکان عمومی در رابطه با سلامت لثه و نسوج وابسته و عوامل مؤثر بر آن جامعه نگر dental public health تحقیقی Research <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong> با توجه به شیوع بیماری لثه در بالغین ایرانی و نقش آن بر سلامت عمومی و در نظر گرفتن نقش پزشکان، هدف از مطالعه حاضر، تعیین سطح دانش و نگرش پزشکان عمومی در رابطه با سلامت پریودنتال بود.<br> <strong>روش بررسی:</strong> مطالعه مقطعی در سال 1398 در شهر تهران انجام شد و پس از کسب رضایت آگاهانه، پرسشنامه روا و پایا در دوره باز آموزی حضوری در اختیار پزشکان قرار داده شد. داده‌ها در نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 26 وارد و مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت.<br> <strong>یافته‌‌‌ها:</strong> مجموعاً 170 نفر (درصد پاسخگویی 95%) از شرکت کنندگان دوره، پاسخگو بودند. میانگین نمره دانش و نگرش به ترتیب 1/4 (حداکثر نمره قابل کسب 6) و 9/51 (حداکثر نمره قابل کسب 65) بود. سابقه کار درمانی (022/0P=) و مدت زمان پس از فارغ التحصیلی (007/0P=) با دانش شرکت کنندگان پیرامون بیماری‌های لثه ارتباط معنی‌دار مثبت داشت. همچنین جنس (012/0P=)، سابقه کار درمانی (002/0P=)، مدت زمان پس از فارغ التحصیلی (005/0P=) و محل کار درمانی (001/0P=) با نگرش آن‌ها پیرامون بیماری‌های لثه ارتباط داشتند. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که زنان نگرش بهتری در رابطه با پیشگیری از بیماری لثه دارند.<br> <strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> در مطالعه حاضر دانش پزشکان در توصیف لثه سالم و اولین نشانه بیماری لثه مناسب بود. همچنین نگرش آنان در مورد اهمیت ابتلا به بیماری‌های دهان و دندان و تأثیر آن بر فعالیت‌های اجتماعی&nbsp;قابل قبول بود. نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که ارائه اطلاعات مهم مرتبط دندانپزشکی به پزشکان در کوریکولوم آموزشی تأکید گردد.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Background and Aims:</strong> Considering the prevalence of periodontal disease in Iranian adults and its impact on general health and the role of medical practitioners, the purpose of the present study was to determine physician&rsquo;s knowledge and attitude towards periodontal health.<br> <strong>Materials and Methods: </strong>A cross-sectional study was conducted in Tehran in 2019 and after getting informed consent, a valid and reliable questionnaire was provided to medical practitioners in a continuing education course. Data were analyzed using the SPSS26 software.<br> <strong>Results:</strong> In total 170 subjects (response rate=95%) responded. The mean scores of knowledge and attitude towards periodontal health were 4.1 (maximum score of 6) and 51.9 (maximum score of 65), respectively. Work experience (P=0.022) and period of time after graduation (P=0.007) had a positive and significant relationship with participants&#39; knowledge. Also, gender (P=0.012), work experience (P=0.002), period after graduation (P=0.005) and practitioner&rsquo;s workplace (P=0.001) were significantly associated with their attitudes. The results showed that women had a better attitude towards prevention of gum disease.<br> <strong>Conclusion:</strong> In the present study, medical practitioners&rsquo; knowledge was good towards description of healthy periodontium and the first sign of periodontal diseas. Also, their attitudes regarding the importance of oral and dental diseases and its impact on social activities were appropriate.
