<p dir="rtl" align="justify"><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif">در این تحقیق با استفاده از روش المانهای محدود، چگونگی توزیع تنش توسط دو نوع رست مزیال و دیستال در سطح ریشه دندان پایه پروتز پارسیل انتهای آزاد بررسی گردید. دندان پره مولر اول پایین به 48 المان مثلثی و 37 گره تقسیم شد. نیروی مضغی معادل 30 پوند (N 133.5) و ضخامت مخاط پوشاننده روی ریج 2.5 میلیمتر در نظر گرفته شد. در حرکت به طرف نسج تنش وارده روی دندان پایه با رست مزیال کمتر و یکنواخت تر از رست دیستال بود. </font></p>

distribution of tensions in mesial and distal rests on root surfaces of
abutment teeth of removable partial dentures was studied. First mandibular
premolar was divided into 48 triangular elements. mastication force and thickness of covering tissue were
considered 30 pounds and 2.5 mm respectively. During the movements toward the
tissue, the tension on abutment teeth with mesial rests was lower and more
