Abstract
Background: Oxidized low-density lipoprotein (Ox-LDL), a key factor in the development of atherosclerosis, can cause endothelial dysfunction and augment lipid accumulation within the arterial wall. Increased oxidative stress in diabetes contributes to this process. Ox-LDL is a highly immunogenic molecule and it is not clear whether anti oxidized LDL antibodies (OLAB) are pathogenic or protective in atherosclerosis? The aim of this study was to evaluate Ox-LDL and its antibody in type 2 diabetes and healthy subjects.
Methods: As a case-control study we evaluated 81 type 2 diabetic patients and 69 non-diabetic healthy persons aged 40 to 65 years. Controls were sex and BMI matched with diabetic patients. Patients with history of cigarette smoking, antioxidant or antihyperlipidemic drugs consumption, coronary heart disease, hypertension , and renal impairment were excluded. We measured serum level of Ox-LDL(two monoclonal antibody of Mercodia co.) and OLAB by ELISA. Lipid profile, serum electrolytes, and HbA1c (HPLC) were also determined. Ox-LDL and its antibody were compared between diabetic patients and controls and the correlation with lipid profile, HbA1c and BMI were assessed.
Results: Serum Ox-LDL concentration and Ox-LDL to LDL ratio were distinctively higher in controls (15.7+-6.9 vs. 11.8+-5.6, P < 0.005). Ox-LDL concentrations were correlated with LDL-C (rs=0.36, P<0.0005) and total cholesterol (rs=0.31, P<0.0005) in both groups but not with age and HbA1c. In diabetic patients, Ox-LDL and its antibody were positively correlated (rs=0.26, P<0.05). Obese diabetic patients (BMI > 30) had higher Ox-LDL concentrations in comparison with diabetic patients with BMI less than 30.
Conclusion: In diabetic patients Ox-LDL level is lower than non-diabetics and is correlated with its antibodies. Based on previous findings, we suppose that the pattern of LDL oxidation enhances Ox-LDL recognition by macrophage via specific legends. This results in low serum Ox-LDL concentrations in diabetes.

Abstract
One of the most important summary measures of population health, is Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALY), introduced for the first time in the project of Global Burden of Disease (GBD), that is the newest as well as the most accepted and familial summary measure of health and the burden of diseases has been measured by this measure at national and regional levels in many countries of the world. One of the most important results of the project of the global burden of disease was revealing the great burden of mental diseases. For measuring the burden of disease, there is frequently need to do value judgments or ethical judgments. Also, this methodology has been criticized ethically. In Iran, these ethical concerns have not been assessed separately yet. In thid article we briefly assessed the ethical issues regarding this methodology and its implications in measuring the burden of the mental diseases.

Abstract
Background: Professionalism is currently a chief concern across the continuum of medical sciences and there is a great deal of efforts to clarify its theoretical components and to measure them. For participation of Iranian medical scientific society in this universal challenge, there is a need to explain and interpret the state of art of this topic in the world.
Methods: We selected the most related articles among the related resources fount through searches of databases, and then asked the related questions of the literature identified
Results: The main core of the professionalism consists of the attitudes and behaviors through them, the patient's interests take priority to the physician's self-interests. Begun in 1990, the professionalism project has reached to its main theoretical results, that is: Physicians' charter on medical professionalism. Regarding the measurement of the professionalism, a reliable and valid measuring method has not been achieved yet.
Conclusion: Achieving to a perfect definition depends on quantifying of its components in the related questionnaires. Regarding the measurement of the professionalism, some great efforts have been done. We propose performing some researches for clarifying the theoretical components and measuring the professionalism in the cultural and professional environment of Iran.

Abstract
Background: In the event of damage to the skin, the epidermis of which goes to the disintegration of the body, is a wound that is common in diabetics. The purpose of this study was to evaluate Effect of alcohol extract of Nigella Sativa on wound healing in diabetic male rats
Methods: In this study 48 male Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups (control, sham, experimental, empirical two) were tested. The extra pawn injured area of 3 cm to the left of the spine created. Wound healing was examined macroscopically.
Results: The streptozocin diabetic wound healing compared to the control group later showed and wound healing in experimental groups treated with alcohol extract of Nigella Sativa was faster than the control group.
Conclusion: The results showed that the alcohol extract of Nigella Sativa skin accelerate wound healing in normal and diabetic samples.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes types 2 are non- communicable disease. During the past three decades, the number of people who have type 2 diabetes become more than doubled. In this disease more than 95 percent of process curing done by patients. Self – care behaviors are important way of controlling disease. Various studies have shown that many factors affect in self-care behaviors. This study aimed to determine the predictors of self- care in type 2 diabetic patients of Yazd and Brijand.
Methods: this study is analytical, descriptive and crosses – sectional. Data collected by using of questionnaire that was designed in 4 parts:
Knowledge questionnaire, self- care questionnaire, self – efficacy questionnaire and social support questionnaire. Data analysis by description and regression test.
Result: Mean score of Knowledge, self- efficacy, self – care and perceived social support don’t have significant different between two citys. Social support with a total direct and indirect have the most effect.
Conclusion: The aim of the training program in type 2 diabetic are promoting in self – care behaviors there for we can achieve this goal by increase perceived social support, self- efficacy and Knowledge.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes can disrupt the balance of cell death through different cell pathways, and exercise or consumption supplements can be effective in maintaining the balance of cell death types; Therefore, the purpose of this research is the effect of magnesium supplementation and exercise training on the content of CREB2 and C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) in the left ventricle of the heart of type 2 diabetic rats.
Methods: In this experimental study, 24 2-month-old male Sprague-Dawley rats with an average weight of 280±20 grams were selected. Type 2 diabetes was induced by injecting nicotinamide and streptozotocin solutions. The rats were randomly divided into four groups, 1) control, 2) supplement, 3) training and 4) training+supplement; Resistance training consisted of 8 weeks and 3 weekly sessions of climbing a ladder. Magnesium supplement was given to rats once a day. To analyze the data, one-way ANOVA and Tukey's post hoc tests were used in SPSS version 29.
Results: Eight weeks of magnesium supplementation and resistance training led to a significant change in the content of CREB2 and CHOP proteins between groups in the left ventricle of the heart (P= 0.001). A significant decrease was observed in the groups of resistance training + magnesium supplement and magnesium supplement compared to the control group (P≥ 0.05); But the resistance training group had increased compared to the control group (P≥ 0.05).
Conclusion: The increase and decrease of CREB2 and CHOP proteins in the left ventricle of the heart can lead to improvement and physiological adaptation, like a bilateral mechanism.
