Abstract
Background: Adipogenesis is a dynamic process that leads to the phenotype of mature fat cells and plays a significant role in obesity and diabetes. The present study investigates the effect of Eight –Weeks of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and L -carnitine Consumption on the expression of BMP7 protein in visceral adipose tissue in diabetic rats.
Methods: In an experimental clinical-intervention study, 50 male Wistar rats were divided into 5 equal groups of control (C), diabetic (D), supplemental diabetic (D + LC), diabetic with exercise (D + T), supplement and exercise (D + LC + T). The training program consisted of eight weeks, 5 sessions per week (6 to 12 2-minute sessions with an intensity of 85-90% of the maximum speed). The subjects received 30 mg/kg body weight L-carnitine through drinking water. Visceral fat was extracted and the expression level of BMP7 protein was assessed using Western Blotting. Data analysis was performed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey post hoc test at a significant level of (P< 0.05).
Results: The results showed that the expression of BMP7, the adipogenesis stimulating protein, in (D + T) and (D + LC + T) groups increased significantly (P< 0.001).
Conclusion: According to the results, it seems that HIIT exercise alone and with L-carnitine Consumption is more effective in the expression of protein associated with adipogenesis expression in visceral fat. However, a clear statement requires further research in this area.

Abstract
Background: Dysfunction of pancreatic beta cells causes a decrease in insulin and an increase in serum glucose, resulting in diabetes. Diabetes has caused dysfunction by damaging various organs, including tissues that are at risk of diabetes. So we've looked at the effect of Vicia sativa on skin wounds caused by high blood sugar.
Methods: In this study, 48 male mouse heads of the wistar breed with a weight range of 220 to 250 grams were divided into 4 control groups, Shem, experimental one (diabetic group+ oserin), experimental two(diabetic+ V. sativa). At the same time as the mice became diabetic with a dose of 50 mg/kg streptosotocin, the rest of the groups received the citrate buffer intra-peritoneal. After the rats were unconscious with the anesthetic and their back hair was shaved in the 3 cm long test groups on the left side of the spine, and the treated groups were treated with 14 days of MG/kg200 dose of mascara extract on the wounds. The wound healing process was examined macroscopically and microscopically on days 7 and 14.
Results: The wound of diabetic groups treated with streptozocin showed a later repair compared to the control group, and the wound healing was faster in experimental groups treated with alcoholic extract of the mascara than in the control group.
Conclusion: The results indicated that the alcoholic extract of the mascara accelerated the healing of skin wounds of healthy and diabetic samples.

Abstract
Background: Despite advances in diabetes-related treatments, the effects of the disease have not yet been adequately reversed or prevented in patients. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop more effective medication-assisted treatments in this field.
Methods: In this study, type 1 diabetes mice models was established using multiple low-dose alloxan, and the diabetic mice were treated with three doses of dimethyl fumarate (DMF) i.e low, medium, and high viz. 20, 40 and 80 mg/kg, respectively for a period of 21 days. Then, specific test were done to evaluate blood biochemical parameters, oxidative stress markers, inflammatory genes expression, and histopathological changes in the mice kidney and liver.
Results: The obtained results showed remarkably improved anti-diabetic, hepato-renal-protective, and oxidative stress indexes of DMF in alloxan-induced diabetic mice (P< 0.001). Treated mice with DMF demonstrated a noteworthy decrease in blood glucose levels when compared with diabetic group (P< 0.001). Diabetic liver and kidney tissues showed marked dilation of bile ducts, tubules, infiltration, and inflammation. On the contrary, the histological features of the treated mice with DMF improve as shown by normal size of glomerular capillaries along with decrease in less dilatation of ducts in comparison with diabetic mice. The real-time quantitative PCR results indicated that DMF injection decreased the alloxan-induced increase of significant elevations in mRNA levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines levels in both kidney and liver tissues. Meanwhile, mice treated with DMF showed an increase in Sirt1 and Nrf2 expression in comparison to diabetic group.
Conclusion: In conclusion, it can be concluded that DMF treatment provides hepato-renal protective effects on alloxan-induced diabetic mice model by attenuating ROS inflammatory pathways.

Abstract
Background: The beneficial effects of saffron extract and resistance training on the improvement of some diabetes indices have been determined, but their combined effect on BDNF protein levels in rats with type 2 diabetes has not been investigated. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of saffron extract consumption during resistance training on BDNF protein expression in the hippocampus of rats with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: In this experimental study, 30 adult male rats were randomly divided into five groups: control (C), diabetes (D), diabetes-resistance training (DT), diabetes-saffron extract (DS) and diabetes-saffron extract- resistance training (DTS). Resistance training performed five sessions/w for six weeks. Blood glucose levels and hippocampus BDNF protein levels were measured. To analyze the data, one-way ANOVA was used at the significance level of P< 0.05.
Results: Blood glucose levels of all experimental groups were significantly higher than C group (P= 0.001). Blood glucose levels in DT, DS and DTS groups were significantly lower than D group (P= 0.001). Also, the blood glucose levels of the DTS group were significantly lower than that of the DT group (P= 0.014). In addition, BDNF protein levels of all experimental groups were significantly lower than group C (P< 0.05). Also, BDNF protein levels of D, DT and DS groups were significantly lower than DTS group (P< 0.05). However, BDNF protein levels of D, DT and DS groups were not significantly different (P< 0.05).
Conclusion: Performing resistance training also consuming saffron extract alone and during resistance training reduces blood glucose levels in diabetic rats. However, consumption of saffron extract could increase BDNF protein levels only during resistance training. Therefore, for more efficiency, it is suggested to consume saffron extract during resistance training.

Abstract
Background: Type 2 diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease and a complex disorder with several micro and macro vascular complications in different parts of the body, which is associated with cardiac fibrosis. On the other hand, endurance training seems to prevent the development of cardiac fibrosis in diabetes by reducing fasting glucose levels and increasing antioxidant indices.
Methods: 24 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups: healthy control (NC, n=8), diabetes control (DC, n=8) and exercise diabetes (DT, n=8) after familiarization with the laboratory environment. Diabetes was induced to diabetic animals through streptozotocin injection. Training groups, performed 8 weeks of intermittent endurance training on a treadmill. Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson trichrome staining were used to check the level of fibrosis and cell disorder. Serum malondialdehyde (MDA) was measured by thiobarbituric acid spectrophotometry. Also, total serum antioxidants were measured by FRAP method.
Results: Compared to the diabetic control group, rats in the training group showed a decrease in fibrosis, fasting glucose, and also a decrease in triglyceride and total cholesterol (P<0.05).
Conclusion: Based on the results, it seems that Endurance training in diabetic Rats prevents the development of cardiac fibrosis caused by diabetes by reducing fasting blood sugar, lipid profile and increasing total antioxidants. However, more studies are needed.

Abstract
Background: Adenosine monophosphate-activated kinase (AMPK) is a key regulator of cellular metabolism, and its dysregulation is associated with metabolic diseases such as obesity, inflammation, diabetes, and cancer. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the effect of moderate intensity interval training (MIIT) on the total and phosphorylated content of AMPKα1/2 protein in the skeletal muscle of diabetic rats.
Methods: In this experimental study, 12 two-month-old male Sprague Dawley rats with an average weight of 280±30 grams were selected. Diabetes was induced to rats through intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin solution (with a dose of 65 mg per kg of body weight). These rats were randomly divided into two groups, diabetic training and diabetic control; The training group performed MIIT for 6 weeks at an intensity equal to 55-75% of maximum speed. Data analysis was done through independent t-test in GraphPad Prism version 10 software. The significance level of the current research is P≤ 0.05.
Results: Total intracellular content of AMPKα1/2 protein did not show significant changes in the training group compared to the control group in the soleus skeletal muscle (P= 0.96). In contrast, the phosphorylated intracellular content (P= 0.0001) and the ratio of phosphorylated to total form (P= 0.002) of AMPKα1/2 protein showed a significant increase.
Conclusion: MIIT increased the protein content of AMPKα1/2 in soleus muscle tissue of diabetic rats, and this could lead to increased energy production and consumption and improved glucose levels in diabetic subjects.

Abstract
Background: Understanding adipogenesis, the process of adipocyte development, may provide new insights to treat type II diabetes and related metabolic diseases. The present study investigates the effect of eight weeks of moderate-intensity continuous training and L-carnitine supplementation on Wnt10b protein expression related to visceral adipose tissue adipogenesis in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetes in larg rats.
Methods: In an experimental clinical-intervention study, 50 large laboratory mice were divided into 5 equal groups of control (C), diabetic (D), supplemental diabetic (D + LC), diabetic with exercise (D + T), supplemental diabetic with exercise (D + LC + T). The training program consisted of three times a week for 30 minutes on a treadmill at a speed of 15 meters per minute. Five days a week, 30 mg/kg of L-carnitine was given through drinking water. Expression of Wnt10b protein at visceral fat was measured by western blot method. Data analysis was performed with one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post hoc tests at a significant level (P< 0.05).
Results: The results showed that the expression of Wnt10b protein, the Lipolysis inhibitory protein, in both (D+LC+T) groups and (D+T) decreased significantly (P< 0.001).
Conclusion: According to the results, it seems that MICT exercise with L-carnitine supplement and alone is more effective in decreasing the expression of protein associated with adipogenesis in visceral fat. However, a clear statement requires further research in this area.

Abstract
Background: Endoplasmic reticulum stress leads to unfolded or folded protein response, and ATF4 and CHOP proteins play very important roles in this signalling pathway; Therefore, the aim of this research is the effect of resistance training on the content of ATF4 and CHOP proteins in the left ventricle of the heart of type 2 diabetic rats.
Methods: In this experimental study, 12 two-month-old male Sprague Dawley rats were selected and their weight reached an average of 280±20 gr after four weeks. Type 2 diabetes was induced by injecting nicotinamide solutions (110 mg/kg) and streptozotocin (60 mg/kg). The rats were randomly divided into 2 groups, resistance training and diabetic control; Resistance training consisted of 8 weeks and 3 sessions per week of climbing a vertical ladder with an 85-degree slope, one meter long with 26 steps and 2 cm space between each step. To analyze data, independent t-test was used in SPSS version 29 and Graphpad Prism version 10.2.3. A significance level of P≤0.05 is considered.
Results: The content of ATF4 and CHOP proteins after 8 weeks of resistance training showed a significant change compared to the control group in the left ventricle of the heart (P=0.001).
Conclusion: The increase of ATF4 and CHOP proteins can lead to increased cell death of cardiomyocytes in the left ventricle of the heart of type 2 diabetic subjects through increasing the endoplasmic reticulum stress and initiating the unfolded or folded protein response.

Abstract
Background: Type 2 diabetes is characterized by insulin resistance and hyperglycemia and can lead to heart disease. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of MIIT on the S6K1 pathway in the myocardium, which is related to the control of cell growth and proliferation.
Methods: In this study, 12 two-month-old male Sprague Dawley rats with an average weight of 280±30 grams participated. To induce diabetes, nicotinamide and streptozotocin solutions were injected with a dose of 110 mg/kg and 60 mg/kg, respectively. The blood sugar of rats was determined between 126-260 mg/dL as an indicator of type 2 diabetes. After the induction of diabetes, the rats were randomly divided into diabetic training group (6 heads) and diabetic control group (6 heads). The diabetic training group trained for 4 weeks and 4 sessions every week. 24 hours after the last training session, the left ventricle of heart was isolated and the amount of protein was measured by western blotting method. Variables were analyzed through independent t-tests. The significance level of study was considered P≤0.05.
Results: Data analysis showed that the intracellular content of total (P=0.62), phosphorylated (P=0.85), and total to phosphorylated (P=0.77) S6K1 protein did not show significant changes after 4 weeks of MIIT.
Conclusion: It seems that after 4 weeks of MIIT, S6K1 protein does not change significantly, so it seems that the duration and intensity of training and nutritional conditions to increase S6K1 phosphorylation should be considered in future research

Abstract
Background: Type 1 diabetes is characterized by persistent hyperglycemia and leads to impaired protein synthesis and ultimately muscle breakdown and reduction in muscle function. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of moderate intensity continuous training (MICT) on the amount of 4EBP1 in the biceps muscle of type 1 diabetic rats.
Methods: The present study is of experimental-fundamental type in which 12 2-month-old male Sprague Dawley rats with an average weight of 280±30 grams participated. To induce type 1 diabetes, streptozotocin (STZ) solution was injected intraperitoneally at a dose of 65 mg/kg. 3 days after the injection, blood sugar above 300 mg/dl was considered as an indicator of type 1 diabetes. After the induction of diabetes, the rats were randomly divided into 2 diabetic training groups (6 heads) and diabetic control groups (6 heads). The continuous training program (32 minutes with an intensity of 50-70% of maximum speed) was 8 weeks and 3 sessions every week. Data analysis was done through independent t-tests. Data analysis was done using GraphPad Prism software version 10.2.2. The significance level of the present study was considered P≤0.05.
Results: In the training group after 8 weeks of MICT, the intracellular content of phosphorylated (P=0.0001), total (P=0.0001) and the ratio of phosphorylated to total (P=0.002) protein 4EBP1 showed a significant change compared to the control group in the twin muscle tissue.
Conclusion: 4EBP1 protein seems to increase through 8 weeks of MICT and this mechanism can increase muscle synthesis in muscle tissue.

Abstract
Background: Type 2 diabetes and its relationship with cardiovascular diseases is one of the concerns of today's society. Although the favorable role of aerobic exercise and gymnema sylvester supplement consumption in diabetic patients has been reported, the effect of aerobic exercise and gymnema sylvester supplement consumption on heart tissue is not well known. Therefore, the purpose of this research is Comparison of the effect of aerobic exercise and gymnema sylvestre supplement on some markers related to cardiomyopathy in type 2 diabetic mice.
Methods: The present research was experimental. The statistical samples included 40 male C57BL/6 mice (with an average age of 8 to 10 weeks and a weight of 20 to 25 gr). who became diabetic after 20 weeks of feeding with a high-fat diet. Then randomly divided into five eight groups including: diabetes + exercise (TDM), diabetes + gymnema sylvester (GSDM), diabetes + exercise + gymnema sylvester (TGSDM), diabetes (DM) and healthy control (CN). The aerobic exercise program consisted of exercises at a speed of 10 m/min for six weeks and five training sessions per week on a treadmill. Daily consumption of gymnema sylvester at the rate of 0.1 g/kg orally alone and also with training intervention was done for six weeks. Serum glucose concentration was measured by enzymatic method, insulin level by ELISA method, insulin resistance by HOMA-IR method and expression of CASPASE-1 and NLRP3 genes by RT-PCR method. Data evaluation was calculated using covariance statistical test and Bonferroni's post hoc test, the significance level was considered as P≤ 0.05.
Results: The findings showed that aerobic exercise and gymnema sylvestre supplement alone caused a significant decrease in the levels of glucose, insulin, insulin resistance and the expression of CASPASE-1 and NLRP3 genes in the heart tissue (P≤ 0.05), the largest decrease in the dependent variables related to the aerobic exercise group with Gymnema Sylvester supplement (P≤0.05). Also, there is no significant difference between the dependent variables of the diabetes group and aerobic exercise and the diabetes group and Gymnema Sylvester supplement (P≤ 0.05).
Conclusion: Six weeks of aerobic exercise, gymnema sylvester supplement and aerobic exercise combined with gymnema sylvester supplement improves blood variables by reducing glucose, insulin and insulin resistance, as well as improving markers related to cardiomyopathy by reducing the expression of caspase-1 and NLRP3 genes in the heart tissue in type 2 diabetic mice.

Abstract
Background: gestational diabetes is one of the most common diseases during pregnancy, and health literacy of pregnant mothers plays an important role in the prevention and management of the disease. The study aimed to examine and compare the health literacy of pregnant women with gestational and non-diabetic diabetes visiting health centers in the city of Yazd in 1402.
Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 206 diabetic and non-diabetic pregnant women; the cluster health center sampling method and pregnant mothers were randomized sampling method. The data was collected using a health literacy questionnaire and analyzed using Chi Square tests, independent t-Tests and variance analysis.
Results: The results of the study showed that the average health literacy score of non-diabetic pregnant mothers (74.26 ± 13.75) was significantly higher than the average health literacy score of diabetic mothers (47.527 ± 21.06) (P< 0.001) and the percentage of diabetic women with insufficient health literacy was reported as 69% and 3.9% of non-diabetic women, which indicates a significant difference in the level of health literacy between diabetic and non-diabetic pregnant mothers (P< 0.001). In addition, diabetic mothers showed an inverse relationship between health literacy and the number of pregnancies and their children, while this trend was not observed in non-diabetic mothers (P< 0.001).
Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that non-diabetic pregnant women have higher health literacy than those with gestational diabetes, highlighting the importance of enhancing health literacy in this group of mothers. Additionally, the strong relationship between health literacy and the mother's diabetes status underscores the need for targeted programs and training to improve health literacy among diabetic pregnant women. Therefore, enhancing health literacy can be crucial in better managing gestational diabetes and improving maternal health outcomes.

Abstract
Background: Clinical studies have demonstrated that diabetes, as a metabolic disorder, can significantly impact the quality of life of individuals affected by the condition. Physical activity has been identified as a potentially effective therapeutic intervention for managing diabetes in these individuals. This study examined the correlation between serum levels of GLP-1 and the hormones thyroxine, TSH, insulin, glucose, HbA1c, VO2max, as well as various anthropometric indicators after eight weeks of calisthenics exercises.
Methods: This semi-experimental study involved 14 sedentary children with type 1 diabetes, averaging 12.42±1.28 years, selected through non-random sampling. The participants performed calisthenics exercises for eight weeks (three sessions per week). Physiological assessments and blood samples were collected 48 hours before and after the training period. The relationship was analyzed using Pearson's correlation test, and intra-group changes were assessed using paired t-tests.
Results: The findings demonstrated a positive and significant correlation between GLP-1 and insulin both before (r= 0.703, P= 0.005) and after the exercise intervention (r= 0.668, P= 0.009). Additionally, an inverse and significant correlation was observed between GLP-1 and waist circumference (WC) levels before (r= 0.633, P= 0.019) and after exercise (r= 0.575, P= 0.043), as well as between GLP-1 and body fat percentage after exercise (r= 0.676, P= 0.007). In terms of intra-group changes, the results indicated a significant increase in GLP-1, insulin, and VO2max, along with a significant decrease in WC.
Conclusion: The findings of this study show that engaging in calisthenics exercises can be effective in reducing the negative effects of type 1 diabetes and increasing the health of diabetic children.

Abstract
Background: The Actinobacteria and Bifidobacterium population, which are the beneficial intestinal bacteria, was compared between pregnant women with gestational diabetes (GDM) and healthy-one, and their relationship with the amount of dietary macronutrients was investigated.
Methods: Fifty pregnant women with GDM, who were identified in the 24-28 weeks of pregnancy, based on the oral glucose tolerance test, and 50 healthy pregnant women with normal results were selected. Stool samples were collected. Bacterial DNA was extracted and 16S rRNA gene amplification was done by qPCR method, using universal bacterial primers. Food information was collected using a food frequency questionnaire.
Results: In total, Actinobacteria phyla (P= 0.02) and Bifidobacterium (P= 0.001) were significantly lower in the pregnant women with GDM than the normoglycemic. Adjusting to all factors and grouping, age (P= 0.02), and education (P= 0.04) showed a significant effect on the gut Actinobacteria population. Higher daily calorie intake decreased the intestinal Actinobacteria population by 11.1 times (P=0.01). Dietary carbohydrate and fat showed a positive effect on the gut Actinobacteria (P= 0.02 and P= 0.003, respectively). Dietary cholesterol showed a negative effect on the Bifidobacterium population (OR= -0.54, P= 0.02).
Conclusion: Increase in dietary carbohydrates and fat with an emphasis on mono- and poly-unsaturated fatty acids, decrease in daily calorie intake and cholesterol lead to increase in the Actinobacteria and Bifidobacterium, respectively as the beneficial gut bacteria.

Abstract
Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of self-compassion training on distress tolerance, anxiety sensitivity and emotional self-control in women with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: This research was experimental and semi-experimental using the pre-test-post-test method with a control group. The statistical population of the intended research included all women with type 2 diabetes in 1402 who visited endocrinologists' offices in Sari, who were selected using a targeted method and then were placed randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The data were collected using the Distress Tolerance Questionnaire of Simmons and Gaher (2005), anxiety sensitivity of Reis et al. (1986) and emotional self-control by Tanji (2004). Then, the data were analyzed using multivariate and univariate covariance methods in SPSS-24 software.
Results: The results showed that the treatment focused on compassion is effective on distress tolerance, anxiety sensitivity and emotional self-control of women with type 2 diabetes.
Conclusion: In fact, the treatment focused on compassion makes the person distance himself from blaming, condemning and self-criticism, which are all examples of lack of emotional self-control, and instead stabilizes his emotional self-control in the first stage and gradually be strengthened. Focused training on compassion can be one of the effective options in improving the quality of life and psychological distress, along with other medical interventions.

Abstract
Background: The aim of this study was to determine effect of resistance training on the expression of PI3K, AKT1 and mTORc1 in the heart tissue of type 2 diabetes rats and their physiological cardiac hypertrophy.
Methods: 21 male wistar rats (220±20 g) were obese by 6 weeks high fat diet (HFD). After inducing obesity, T2D induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (30 mg/kg) in 14 rats. Finally, the rat were randomly assigned to 1) non-diabetes, 2) control T2D, 3) resistance diabetes groups. Rats in the resistance group were completed a resistance
training program, 5 sessions weekly for 6 weeks. PI3K, AKT1 and mTORc1 expression and the weight ratio of left ventricular to heart, left ventricular to body and heart to body were compared by ANOVA between groups.
Results: In response to induction of diabetes, the expression of PI3K, AKT1 and mTORc1 in heart tissue decreased significantly compared to the non-diabetic group (p < 0.05). Resistance training resulted in significant increase in the expression of PI3K, AKT1 and mTORc1 and the weight ratio of left ventricular to heart, heart to body and left ventricular to body compared to control diabetes rats (p < 0.05).
Conclusion: Resistance training is associated with physiological cardiac hypertrophy in diabetic rats, and this improvement can be attributed to the PI3K/AKT1/mTORc1 signaling pathway.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes can disrupt the balance of cell death through different cell pathways, and exercise or consumption supplements can be effective in maintaining the balance of cell death types; Therefore, the purpose of this research is the effect of magnesium supplementation and exercise training on the content of CREB2 and C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) in the left ventricle of the heart of type 2 diabetic rats.
Methods: In this experimental study, 24 2-month-old male Sprague-Dawley rats with an average weight of 280±20 grams were selected. Type 2 diabetes was induced by injecting nicotinamide and streptozotocin solutions. The rats were randomly divided into four groups, 1) control, 2) supplement, 3) training and 4) training+supplement; Resistance training consisted of 8 weeks and 3 weekly sessions of climbing a ladder. Magnesium supplement was given to rats once a day. To analyze the data, one-way ANOVA and Tukey's post hoc tests were used in SPSS version 29.
Results: Eight weeks of magnesium supplementation and resistance training led to a significant change in the content of CREB2 and CHOP proteins between groups in the left ventricle of the heart (P= 0.001). A significant decrease was observed in the groups of resistance training + magnesium supplement and magnesium supplement compared to the control group (P≥ 0.05); But the resistance training group had increased compared to the control group (P≥ 0.05).
Conclusion: The increase and decrease of CREB2 and CHOP proteins in the left ventricle of the heart can lead to improvement and physiological adaptation, like a bilateral mechanism.

Abstract
Background: There is a two-way relationship between diabetes. The purpose of the current research was to compare health control beliefs, emotion regulation strategies, and marital conflicts between diabetic and non-diabetic women.
Methods: The present study is a comparative causal research type. The statistical population of the present study is all diabetic and non-diabetic women in the city of Tehran who visited the Tehran clinic in the first half of 2022, out of which 43 were diabetic women which were selected by screening and available sampling method. The control group consists of 43 non-diabetic women were selected by matching demographic variables. The multidimensional health locus of control (MHLC) scales, emotional regulation strategies and marital conflicts scale quaternaries were used to collect data. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics including multivariate analysis of variance.
Results: The results showed that compared to non-diabetic women, women with diabetes had a higher level of emotional suppression regulation, the source of control of effective people, the source of control of chance and marital conflict. Also, they had a lower level of reappraisal emotion regulation and internal locus of control, and all these differences were significant.
Conclusion: The research results showed ineffective emotion regulation, faulty control source beliefs and marital conflict in women with diabetes, which reveals the need to pay attention to the above factors in the form of providing treatment and educational programs to diabetic women, families and centers related to diabetic women.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes is the most common metabolic disease resulting from a relative deficiency of insulin secretion or action. This study aimed to evaluate the synergistic inhibitory effects of valproate sodium (VPS) and metformin (MET) on alloxan-induced diabetic nephropathy and to understand the mechanism of their effect on the expression pathway of inflammatory genes, Sirt-1 and Bcl-2.
Methods: Female mice (C57BL/6) were induced to have diabetes by intraperitoneal injection of a single dose of alloxan (120 mg/kg). Diabetic mice were treated with three doses of sodium valproate (10, 20, and 40 mg/kg) and a single dose of metformin (200 mg/kg) for a period of 28 days. The expression of inflammatory genes and histological changes in the kidneys of the mice were evaluated for a period of 28 days.
Results: The hyperglycemia induced by alloxan-induced diabetes was significantly reduced after a 28-day course of valproate sodium administration (P < 0.05). Combined treatment of sodium valproate with metformin significantly reduced the expression of inflammatory genes in the kidney tissue of diabetic mice. A significant increase in the expression of Sirt-1 and Bcl2 was observed in diabetic mice receiving valproate sodium and metformin compared to the diabetic group. Treatment of diabetic mice with valproate sodium and metformin prevented the adverse histopathological changes caused by renal nephropathy, which was accompanied by normal glomerular capillary size and reduced dilatation of the urinary tract compared to diabetic mice.
Conclusion: It can be concluded that MET and VPS in combination can prevent alloxan-induced diabetic nephropathy through attenuating inflammatory pathways and decreasing inflammatory genes expressions together probably with the suppression of oxidative stress, inflammation and apoptosis.

Abstract
Background: With the increasing prevalence of diabetes in children and the resulting mental pressures, attention to these patients has become a health priority in the world. Psychological distress is one of the problems of these patients that affects different aspects of their lives. It seems that enduring psychological distress can affect the psychological problems of these patients. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between psychological distress and tolerance of psychological distress in children with diabetes in Zahedan city.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. The samples included 200 children with pediatric diabetes referred to the diabetes clinic of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) hospital in Zahedan and met the inclusion criteria. The data collection tool included the demographic information form and Kessler's psychological distress and Gaher's distress tolerance questionnaires, which were completed by interviewing the child. Descriptive and analytical data analysis was done using spss27 software.
Results: 52.6% of all subjects studied were girls and the average duration of infection was 22.6 months. A significant relationship was found between psychological distress and tolerance of psychological distress (r = -0.65 p < 0.001).
Conclusion: The findings showed that there is a significant and inverse correlation between psychological distress and distress tolerance. In other words, the higher the psychological distress tolerance, the less distress a person experiences. Therefore, it seems that in order to enjoy higher mental health in these patients, attention should be paid to improving their distress tolerance.
