Abstract
Background: Type 2 diabetes is a major metabolic disorder. This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of probiotic soymilk fermented with Bifidobacterium lactis and containing omega-3 on hematologic, oxidative stress, anti-oxidant and inflammatory parameters in type 2 diabetic rats.
Methods: In this experimental manipulation study 65 rats were divided into five groups. Type 2 diabetes was induced by a single injection of streptozotocin and nicotinamide. Normal control (NC) and diabetic control (DC) rats received 1 mL/day of distilled water, and three groups of diabetic rats were administered 1 mL/day of soymilk (SM), fermented soymilk (FSM) and fermented soymilk fortified with omega-3 (FSM+omega-3) products by oral gavage for 28 days. Hematologic, oxidative stress, anti-oxidant and inflammatory parameters were measured at the end of experiment.
Results: At the end of experiment, in all treated diabetic rats compared with the DC group, red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit and superoxide dismutase (SOD) concentrations increased significantly (p<0.05), and malondialdehyde (MDA) concentrations reduced significantly (p<0.05). The reduction of MDA and increasing in Hb, RBC, hematocrit and SOD concentrations in the FSM+omega-3 group was more than two other groups. In the FSM+omega-3 group, high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) concentrations compared with the DC and FSM groups were significantly lower (p<0.05).
Conclusion: The experiments suggest that combining soymilk, probiotics and omega-3 may be beneficial for the reducing oxidative-stress in type 2 diabetes.

Abstract
Background: This study was designed to assess the effects of calcium and vitamin D supplementation on the metabolic status of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
Methods: This randomized placebo-controlled trial was performed at maternity clinics affiliated to Kashan University of Medical Sciences, Kashan, Iran. Participants were 56 women with GDM at 24–28 weeks gestation (18 to 40 years of age). Subjects were randomly assigned to receive calcium plus vitamin D supplements or placebo. All study participants were blinded to group assignment. Individuals in the calcium–vita- min D group (n = 28) received 1,000 mg calcium per day and a 50,000 U vitamin D3 pearl twice during the study (at study baseline and on day 21 of the intervention), and those in the placebo group (n = 28) received two placebos at the mentioned times. Fasting blood samples were taken at study baseline and after 6 weeks of intervention.
Results: The study was completed by 51 participants (calcium–vitamin D n = 25, placebo n =26). However, as the analysis was based on an intention-to-treat approach, all 56 women with GDM (28 in each group) were included in the final analysis. After the administration of calcium plus vitamin D supplements, we observed a significant reduction in fasting plasma glucose (p < 0.001), serum insulin levels (p = 0.02) and HOMA-IR (p = 0.001) and a significant increase in QUICKI (p = 0.003) compared with placebo. In addition, a significant reduction in serum LDL-cholesterol (P=0.02) and total cholesterol: HDL-cholesterol ratio (p = 0.003) and a significant elevation in HDL-cholesterol levels (p = 0.01) was seen after intervention in the calcium–vitamin D group compared with placebo. In addition, calcium plus vitamin D supplementation resulted in a significant increase in GSH (p =0.03) and prevented a rise in MDA levels (p = 0.03) compared with placebo.
Conclusion: Calcium plus vitamin D supplementation in women with GDM had beneficial effects on their metabolic profile.

Abstract
Background: Exercise training is identified as a beneficial component of diabetes treatment plan. Angiogenesis process in diabetics can be affected by exercise activity. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of aerobic exercise on the expression of mir-126 and capillary density in the cardiac tissue of diabetic rats.
Methods: Twenty diabetic male Wistar rats (mean weight, 191.9±10.85) were divided into two groups of control (n=10) and training (n=10) and the groups were matched based on weight. 48 hours after the last training session, cardiac tissue samples were taken after an overnight fast. Mir-126 expression was used through Real Time PCR. Also, immunohistochemistry (alkaline phosphatase activity) was used to measure the cardiac muscle capillary density.
Results: Independent t-test showed that the 8-week aerobic training significantly increased the expression of mir-126(p=0.001) and capillary density (p=0.018) of cardiac tissue in the exercise group compared to the control group.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the development of angiogenesis by aerobic exercise in diabetic conditions; can be expressed as a non-drug treatments for aerobic exercise and can be used to improve heart perfusion.

Abstract
Background: Whole-grain foods have been reported to affect serum levels of inflammatory cytokines. However, we are aware of no study examining the effect of whole-grain intake on inflammatory biomarkers among children
Objective: The present study aimed to determine the effect of whole grain intake on serum levels of inflammatory biomarkers in overweight or obese children.
Methods: In this randomized cross-over clinical trial, 44 overweight or obese (BMI>85th percentile for age and sex) girls aged 8-15 y participated. After a 2-wk run-in period, subjects were randomly assigned to either intervention or non-intervention groups. Subjects in the intervention group were given a list of whole grain foods and were asked to obtain 50% of their grain servings from whole grain foods each day for 6 weeks. Individuals in the non-intervention group were also given a list of whole-grain foods and were asked not to consume any of these foods during the intervention phase of the study. A 4-wk washout period was applied following which subjects were crossed over to the alternate arm for an additional 6 wk. Fasting blood samples were taken before and after each phase of study to quantify markers of systemic inflammation.
Results: Mean (±SD) age of study participants was 11.2±1.49 years. Mean weight and BMI of subjects was 51.2±10.2 kg and 23.5±2.5 kg/m2, respectively. No significant effect of whole-grain intake on weight and body mass index (BMI) was seen compared with the non-intervention group. We found a significant effect of whole grain intake on serum levels of hs-CRP (changes from baseline in intervention group: -0.55 vs. 0.20 mg/L in non-intervention group, P=0.03), soluble inter-cellular adhesion molecule-1 (-121 vs. 23 μg/L, P=0.02), serum amyloid A (-0.59 vs. 0.32 mg/L, P=0.02) and leptin (-11.5 vs. 36.8 ng/L, P=0.02) after 6 weeks. A trend toward the significant effect of whole grain intake on serum levels of sVCAM-1 (-166 vs. -32 μg/L, P=0.07) was also observed.
Conclusion: This study provides evidence supporting the beneficial effects of whole-grain foods on biomarkers of systemic inflammation in obese children.

Abstract
Background: Cardiomyopathy is a side effect caused by diabetes. Prolonged hyperglycemia gives rise to an increase in the expression of the receiver gene RAGE subsequently triggering pathogenesis cardiac signaling pathways in the heart of rats with type II diabetes. The present paper aims to examine how a 12 week Resistance training on gene expressions RAGE, ICAM, VCAM in the heart of diabetic rats with STZ.
Methods: 16 male Wistar rats with weight mean ranging from 200 ± 20 g were randomly assigned to two groups of Resistance diabetes (n = 8) and control diabetes (n = 8) and were kept under lab circumstances. A 12 week Resistance training was administered with the experimental group and 48 hours after the end of the last training session the rats were made unconscious and examined. Their hearts were, afterwards, cut out and the extent of gene expressions RAGE, ICAM, VCAM in the left ventricular heart was measured using Real time-PCR method.
Results: The results indicated there was a significant difference between left ventricular heart of the Resistance diabetes and that of control diabetes in terms of gene expression RAGE, yet no significant difference was detected between the two groups in terms of gene expressions ICAM, VCAM.
Conclusion: According to the results, in seems that Resistance trainings effectively reduce gene expressions RAGE and reduction pattern but non-significant in the Gene ICAM, VCAM in left ventricular heart of diabetic rats and therefore can be considered an effective way in reducing pathogenesis cardiac signaling pathways in the heart of rats with type II diabetes.

Abstract
Background: Inhibitors of α-glucosidase by interfering with digestion of carbohydrates play a role in controlling diabetes. Thymus vulgaris is an herb belonging to the mint family (lamiaceae). The essence of this plant contain the phenols such as thymol and carvacrol, cymene, linalool, pinene. The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of the constituents of the thymus vulgaris extract on the activity of α-glucosidase enzyme by molecular docking.
Methods: In this study, to investigate how the compounds are attached to the active site of the enzyme, mapping of chemical structure of the compounds, energy optimization, docking studies and final analysis were carried out by ChemDraw, HyperChem, AutoDock 4.2, DS Visualizer and Lig Pluto software, respectively.
Results: All of the studied compounds were able to occupy the active site of the enzyme, among all of them, the best results of docking was related to the combination of Caryophlla-4- (12), 8 (13) -dien-5-β-ol. In fact, this compound has the most negative energy level of connection, the highest affinity for binding to the active site of the enzyme and the interaction site is similar to that of the co-crystal molecule.
Conclusion: considering the high efficacy of plant extract compounds in the bioinformatics study, and for complementary studies, the effect of the extract of this plant can be analyzed in order to control the increase of glucose in vitro and in vivo conditions.

Abstract
Background: Diabetic cardiomyopathy is the first cause of death in diabetic patients and angiogenesis is the most important mechanism for the recovery of heart blood flow in physiologic and pathologic conditions. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of eight weeks of moderate continuous and sever interval training on heart angiogenesis in Wistar male diabetic rats.
Methods: 32 Wistar rats were randomly assigned into 4 groups: healthy non-exercised, diabetic no exercise, diabetic + moderate continuation and diabetic + severe interval exercises. Two types of exercises were calibrated and the exercise intensity was determined based on the maximum oxygen consumption and 5 days a week. The pro-angiogenic (VEGF, MMP2, TGFβ1) and anti-angiogenic (TIMP2) agents of the left ventricle of the heart were taken from the rat after 48 hours of the last training session. Western blot method was used to evaluate the synthesis of proteins involved in angiogenic route. Data were measured by one-way variance analysis with repeated measurements (P =0/000).
Results: The results showed that the levels of proangiogenic VEGF, MMP2, TGFβ1 significantly increased, but the anti-angiogenic factor of TIMP2 decreased (P <0.05). In addition, the maximum level of oxygen consumed in both continuous and periodic training groups showed a significant increase.
Conclusion: Moderate and continuous exercise increases angiogenic factors in the heart of diabetic Wistar rats, which is a good way to reduce the mortality rate of diabetes.

Abstract
Background: Dispositional optimism is the expectation of positive outcomes in the future, and it can have a moderating effect on the neuroendocrinal changes resulting from stress in patients with type-2 diabetes. Best Possible Self (BPS) is a Positive-Psychology intervention which attempts to increase optimism by encouraging the patient to imagine and write about desirable outcomes.The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of optimism on glycemic control in type 2 diabetic patients.
Methods: The study sample included 60 individuals (30 in the control group and 30 in the experimental group). Every participant was a patient of Endocrinology Clinic of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The participants were chosen through simple random sampling. Study materials included the Revised Life Orientation Test (R-LOT) and the Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS). These questionnaires were administered before the intervention and then again two weeks later.
Results: The Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) method was used to determine the effectiveness of intervention.
Conclusion: Results suggest that BPS intervention increases optimism in patients with type 2 diabetes.

Abstract
Background: Physical activity plays a major role in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, but the effect of intense activity on endoplasmic reticulum proteins and apoptosis and necroptosis in diabetic conditions is unclear. The aim of the present study was to investigate the changes of PERK and CHOP proteins in endoplasmic reticulum of cardiac myocytes of diabetic Wistar rats following continuous and interval exercise.
Methods: For this purpose, 32 male white wistar were purchased and were randomly divided into 4 groups of hemogenus 8 rats in each group: Healthy control (C), Diabetic control (D), Diabetic with moderate-intensity continuous training intensity at the 55min on 26 m/min speed (D+MICT) and Diabetic with high-intensity interval training intensity at the 85-90% of maximum speed (D+HIIT); 5 days/week for 8 weeks. For evaluate changes in the expression of the proteins associated with apoptosis and necroptotic death in the diabetic heart muscle myocardium, based on Western blot analysis will be used. Also, the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used to determine differences between the study groups.
Results: The results showed that induction of type 2 diabetes increased apoptotic and necroptosis cell death (P≥0.05). Therefore, both continuous and intermittent aerobic exercise modulate apoptotic cell death. And both intermittent and continuous exercise had a significant effect on cell necroptosis death.
Conclusion: It seems that different levels of aerobic exercise have different effects on cardiac myocytes cell death in diabetic rats. But more research is needed to confirm the death of diabetic necroptics.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes mellitus is one of the most common endocrine diseases. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the leading causes of death in patients with type 2 diabetes. The aim of this study was to investigate the metabolic profile of plasma amino acids in diabetic patients with cardiovascular disease.
Methods: The present study is a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study on 140 patients including 35 patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD.DM), 35 patients with type 2 diabetes and non-cardiovascular disease (DM). 35 non-diabetic patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD.nDM) and 35 non-diabetic patients with non-cardiovascular disease (HS) were referred to Diabetes Clinic No. 1 of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Results: 76 (54.3%) were male and 64 (45.7%) were female. The highest concentrations of glutamine and isoleucine were observed in DM.CVD, asparagine, serine, arginine, threonine, alanine, tyrosine, valine in DM.nCVD and methionine in CVD.nDM. The lowest concentrations of tyrosine and tryptophan in DM.CVD has been detected , and methionine has been detected in DM.nCVD. The amino acids alanine, glutamine, tyrosine, valine, methionine, leucine, lysine and arginine significantly increased the chances of developing DM.nCVD. For each increase in Z-score per plasma concentration of isoleucine, the chances of developing cardiovascular disease without diabetes were significantly increased.
Conclusion: The amino acids alanine, glutamine, tyrosine, valine, methionine, leucine, lysine and arginine are involved in predicting the risk of DM.nCVD and isoleucine and methionine are involved in predicting the risk of CVD.nDM.

Abstract
Background: Hypoglycaemic effects of Galega officinalis and silver nanoparticles are established. In the present study, the effects of silver nanoparticles synthetized by Galega officinalis extract were investigated on gene expression of TNF-α, IL-6 and serum levels of liver enzymes in diabetes type 2.
Methods: In the present study 20 male Wistar rats in 4 group(n= 5 in each group) weighing 180- 200 gr were used. Control or nikotinamid and stroptozotosin induced diabetic rats receieved intraperitoneal injection of saline or 2/5mg/Kg silver nanoparticles synthetized by Galega officinalis extract or chemichal method for 14 days respectively. One day after the last injections, serum samples and adipose tissue were collected. Mean serum concentration of glucose, urea, creatinine, alanine amino transferase(ALT), and aspartate amino transferase(AST) were determined by spectrophotometry. Mean relative gene expression of TNF-α and IL-6 were determined by method of real time PCR.
Results: Mean serum levels of ALT and AST enzymes, glucose, urea significantly decreased in diabetic rats receiving chemichal or green silver naoparticles compared to diabetic group. Mean relative gene expression of TNF-α and IL-6 significantly decreased in diabetic rats receiving chemichal or green silver naoparticles compared to diabetic ones.
Conclusion: Both chemical and green synthetized silver nanoparticles may prevent hepatocyes damages and they may improve insulin resistance in diabetes type 2 partly via decresing pro- inflammatory factors.

Abstract
Background: Chronic hyperglycemia is associated with an increase in cellular damage due to oxidative stress and increases insulin resistance and also increases in p53 and p16 beta cells, leading to the induction of senescence in pancreatic insulin-secreting cells. The aim of this study was the effect of eight weeks of aerobic exercise on the expression of senescence proteins P53 and P16 in the pancreatic tissue of diabetic mice.
Methods: In this study, 15 NMRI mice (26.3 ±3.22 g) were divided into three groups randomly: healthy control, diabetic control and diabetic exercise. They were diabetic by HFD for 5 weeks and intraperitoneal injection of STZ. The aerobic training protocol (50-60% Vmax) was 5 days a week for 8 weeks. After anesthesia, blood and pancreatic tissue were removed. Insulin resistance, P53 and P16 protein concentrations in pancreatic beta cells were measured. Data were analyzed by ANOVA with a significance level of p <0.05.
Results: According to the results of eight weeks of aerobic exercise by mice diabetic type 2, a significant decrease in insulin resistance (p = 0.005), protein concentrations of P53 (p = 0.002) and P16 (p = 0.010) in pancreatic tissue was observed.
Conclusion: Aerobic exercise may improve insulin sensitivity and delay cellular senescence due to diabetes by reducing cell senescence factors such as P53 and P16 in beta cells. Therefore, this type of exercise can be considered as a therapeutic approach to improve the condition of these patients.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes, as a progressive disease, can lead to decreased immune function. therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the simultaneous effect of resistance training and endothelial progenitor cell injection on immunoglobulins (IgA, IgM, IgG) of streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats.
Methods 30 rats (aged 6 weeks with a mean weight of 200±20 g) were randomly divided into groups including Diabetes + stem cell injection + resistance training (n = 6), diabetes + resistance training (n = 6), diabetes + stem cell injection (n = 6), control diabetes (n = 6) and healthy basal (n = 6) Were divided. Western blotting was used to evaluate the changes in immunoglobulins. Also, two-way analysis of variance was used for comparison between and within the group, and for better understanding of the results, the effect size, and the amount of 95% confidence interval were given.
Results: The results showed that IgA (P = 0.022), IgM (P = 0.017), IgG (P = 0.045) had significant changes between groups. Also, there was a significant difference in all three variables between the control diabetes group and the diabetes + resistance training + injection group (P≤0.05).
Conclusion: Summarizing the results of the present study, it can probably be said that resistance training and simultaneous injection of endothelial progenitor cells improve the status of immunoglobulins by training and injection. These findings suggest that resistance training and injections can be used as a treatment to improve the function of the immune system due to diabetes.

Abstract
Background: In Iran, with the advancement of technology and the development of registration statistics, the need to use data mining methods has attracted more attention from researchers. Regression and classification tree is one of the important methods in Big data modeling, which has attracted the attention of many researchers for community control and prediction. The purpose of this study is to determine the influencing variables on the occurrence of complications caused by diabetes.
Methods: This paper is a cross sectional-analytical study. In this research, all diabetic patients covered by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 2017 were extracted from the SINA system. The number of diabetics with complications was 5016 and diabetics without complications were 53613. The method of fitting the regression tree model and classification and measurement criteria of the model is the coefficient of determination and the area of the Rock curve and the Lift diagram.
Results: The rock curve for the fitted tree model is 73.8%, which shows the relatively high power of the model. Based on the Lift chart, the decision-making power of diabetes complications increases 3.5 times for the person who comes to visit.
Conclusion: The results of the regression model and tree classification showed that, in descending order, age, risk assessment factor, FBS, HbA1C, total activity time, cholesterol, FBS and HDL, cardiovascular disease, history of stroke, blood pressure, cholesterol Statin prescription, job with hard physical activity, living area, consumed oil, walking, consumption of vegetables and gender are more effective than other factors in the occurrence of diabetes complications.

Abstract
Background: One of the complications of type 2 diabetes is the development of neurocognitive disorders, and DCX and AMPA may be involved in this disorder. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of aerobic exercise on the DCX and AMPA in the hippocampus of rats with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: 32 eight-week-old male rats were divided into control (C), diabetes (D), diabetes-exercise (DT), and exercise (T) groups. Diabetes was induced by streptozotocin injection. The exercise was carried out for six weeks. Finally, the rats were dissected, and their hippocampus tissue was extracted. Proteins were measured by the ELISA method.
Results: There was nonsignificant difference between the DCX of the C group and the T and DT groups (p>0.05). But there was a significant difference between the DCX of the C and diabetic groups (p =0.05). Also, a significant difference was observed between the diabetic groups and the T group (p<0.05). AMPA in diabetic groups were significantly lower than in C and T groups (p<0.05) While the difference between C and T groups and D and DT groups was not significant (p>0.05). Also, a significant negative correlation was observed between AMPA and DCX with blood glucose.
Conclusion: Diabetes reduces the AMPA and DCX but exercise nonsignificantly reduces the effect of diabetes on those. According to the appropriate duration of exercise, there is a possibility that due to the significant negative correlation between these proteins and glucose, the intensity of exercise can significantly reduce the negative effect of diabetes on those.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes leads to numerous side effects in the cardiovascular system and also to improper functioning of the body's antioxidant system. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of six weeks of high-intensity interval training with coenzyme Q10 supplementation on the values of Nrf2 and NQO1 in heart muscle of elderly diabetic rats.
Methods: In this experimental study, 48 elderly male rats (18 months old) were randomly divided into four groups of intense aerobic exercise with coenzyme Q10 supplementation, intense aerobic exercise group, coenzyme Q10 supplement intake group, and control group. Induction of diabetes was done by injecting a single dose of streptozotocin in the amount of 60 mg/kg intraperitoneally. The program of high intensity interval training was done for six weeks. Coenzyme Q10 supplement group received orally at a dose of 200 mg/kg. Western blot method was used to measure Nrf2 and NQO1 values. The data were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post hoc test at a significance level of P <0.05.
Results: The results showed taking coenzyme Q10 supplement (P= 0.014), intense intermittent exercise (P= 0.001) and intense intermittent exercise with coenzyme Q10 supplement (P= 0.001) significantly increased Nrf2 values in the hearts of diabetic elderly rats. Also, the use of coenzyme Q10 supplement (P=0.0366), intense intermittent exercise (P= 0.014) and intense intermittent exercise along with coenzyme Q10 supplement use (P= 0.002) significantly increased the amount of NQO1 in the hearts of diabetic aged male rats.
Conclusion: Intermittent intense training along with supplement consumption improves heart function in elderly diabetic patients through increasing endogenous antioxidant enzymes.

Abstract
Background: Congenital hypothyroidism is one of the important preventable causes of mental restriction in children. Considering the importance of the etiology of the disease in the better management of patients in the later years of life and adulthood, this study was conducted with the aim of investigating the etiology of permanent congenital hypothyroidism in patients referred to children's clinic in Gorgan.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 75 children's files with permanent congenital hypothyroidism. The diagnosis of the disease was made based on the findings of the technetium 99 thyroid scan after the completion of the three-year treatment period. Laboratory results, thyroid scan and information related to risk factors were extracted from patients' files.
Results: 56% of newborns were boys, 32% were born in winter and 61.3% were from Persian ethnicity. The most diagnosed permanent hypothyroidism was ectopic type. 37.33% of babies with permanent congenital hypothyroidism were born preterm. 67.6% of babies born with permanent congenital hypothyroidism weighed less than 2500 grams, and 41.3% of mothers had a history of hypothyroidism and in 42.7% of infants with permanent maternal hypothyroidism, the parents had a family relationship.
Conclusion: In the present study, prematurity of babies as well as hypothyroidism of the mother and family marriage of the parents in babies with permanent congenital hypothyroidism have a relatively high prevalence.

Abstract
Background: The current study aimed to ascertain the impact of pulsed magnetic therapy, multicomponent exercise, and a combination of both modalities on bone markers type 2 diabetic patients with osteoporotic.
Methods: In a randomized controlled clinical trial study, 56 older patients with type 2 diabetic osteoporosis (age: 68.18±3.67 yr; weight: 78.13±7.65 kg, body mass index: 28.40±1.76 kg/m2) were randomly assigned to either the multicomponent exercise + Full-body pulsed electromagnetic field (MCEx+PEMF, n= 18) multicomponent exercise + placebo full-body PEMF (MCEx+PPEMF, n=17) and a full-body PEMF alone (PEMF, n= 21). PEMF was applied for the whole body using a full-body mat three times per week, 60 minutes for 12 weeks, with a multicomponent exercise protocol that includes flexibility, aerobic exercise, strengthening, weight-bearing, and balance exercises followed by whole-body vibration (WBV) training. The body composition, bone mineral density (BMD), bone metabolism markers (phosphorus, calcium, sclerostin, osteocalcin, Bone-specific alkaline phosphatase (BALP)) before and after the intervention. The data were analyzed using the dependent t test and the two-way repeated measures ANOVA at the level of less than 0.05.
Results: After 12 weeks of intervention, there is a significant difference in the serum levels of bone mineral density and bone metabolism markers (phosphorus, calcium, sclerostin, BALP) between the groups (P< 0.05). However, the bonferoni post-test showed an increase in serum levels of BMD, phosphorus, sclerostin, BALP with a significant decrease in calcium in the MCEx+PEMF group in compared to alone PEMF group.
Conclusion: The findings showed that the PEMF rehabilitation method combined with multicomponent exercise is more effective and safer than exercise or PEMF only for improving BMD and bone metabolism markers in the type 2 diabetic population with osteoporosis. Therefore, exercise rehabilitation clinics should be encouraged to consider exercise rehabilitation as a treatment method for type 2 diabetic patients with osteoporosis. More studies with long-term follow-up should be considered to confirm these findings.

Abstract
Background: Inflammatory protein C3 and IL-1β are significantly involved in the pathophysiology of type 2 diabetes (T2D) and Alzheimer's disease. Moreover, examining the importance of aerobic exercise timing (light vs. dark phase) can provide a better understanding of how exercise timing affects inflammatory markers associated with neurological diseases in older adult women with T2D. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of aerobic exercise timing on C3 and IL-1β levels in older adults’ women with T2D.
Methods: In this semi-experimental study, 45 women with T2D with an average age of 60 ± 5.07 years were divided into training groups (light and dark phase) and control (15 people in each group). Aerobic exercise was performed for 12 weeks at a moderate intensity (60-70% of heart rate reserve). Protein levels (C3 and IL-1β) were measured before and after the intervention using the ELISA method. Data were analyzed using SPSS27 software and ANOVA with a significance level of 0.05.
Results: Complement C3 was significantly lower in the dark phase exercise group compared to the control group (P= 0.0083). Additionally, the results showed that dark phase aerobic exercise significantly decreased C3 (P= 0.0028) and IL-1β (P= 0.0045) levels compared to baseline.
Conclusion: Aerobic exercise performed during the dark phase effectively reduced inflammatory protein levels of C3 and IL-1β in older adult women with T2D, suggesting it could be considered as a crucial strategy in managing this disease.

Abstract
Background: Diabetes is a chronic condition that can significantly impairs quality of life and requires long-term care due to its complications. Effective self-care education plays a key role in blood glucose control and in the prevention of diabetes-related complications. Telenursing is considered a promising approach to enhance self-care education in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: This study was a systematic review conducted using a three-stage search strategy. Using Persian and English keywords including "telenursing," "self-care," and "diabetes," as well as their MeSH equivalents, relevant literature was searched in Persian databases (Magiran, SID) and international databases (PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar) within the time frame of 2000 to 2023. After applying inclusion criteria, 17 out of 1,092 retrieved articles were selected for final review and analysis.
Results: A total of 1,092 articles were initially retrieved. After removing duplicates and applying the inclusion criteria, 17 relevant articles were included in the review. These studies evaluated the use of telenursing—either via telephone or in combination with other technologies—for effectively improving self-care behaviors in diabetic patients.
Conclusion: The findings indicated that telephone calls can serve as a potential method of remote nursing care for educating patients on diabetes self-management. Nurses can utilize telenursing as an effective and efficient educational tool to enhance blood glucose control in diabetic patients. This approach not only improves the quality of healthcare services but also empowers patients to manage their disease more consciously and prevent its complications.
