Abstract
Cosmetics used in the eyes are of special importance due to the sensitivity of this area and the high probability of transmission of different contaminations and its dangers. Thus safety issues should be considered more tightly. Accordingly, this study qualitatively, examines the label claim regarding the contents of several domestic and foreign products available in the Iran`s market. Legal aspects were carried out in accordance with European standards. In this study, 14 samples of eye cosmetic products, including mascara sample, eyeliner sample and pencil sample were examined. After preparing a list of all the components of each sample and presenting them in the tables, each component was evaluate individually according to CosIng site.
Finally the role of components and limitations if any and the range of permissible or unauthorized concentration of each were recorded and discussed. In the studied products, the role of components and their performance in the product were consistent and no prohibited item was identified.

Abstract
Microalgae are photosynthetic microorganisms which are the result of permanent exposure to stressful conditions such as high or low temperature, high salinity, osmotic pressure, ultraviolet radiation (uv), contain valuable bioactive compounds in cosmetic products .the existing cosmetic products can be replaced with the cosmetic products that are compatible with the environment and can be included in the topical formulations of skin care such as moisturizers, Anti-wrinkles, anti - aging and anti - acne. In addition, the extracts from these microalgae are used to make sunscreen to treat skin pigmentation and improve wounds; therefore most commercial cosmetics have a wide range of natural compounds extracted from cyanobacteria and this leads to increasing antioxidant, regenerative, moisturizer, shielding and brighteners for both hair and skin. In this article the cosmetic use of cyanobacteria extract and dried powder in improving the appearance and health skin have been investigated. Furthermore, analyzing the brand of Spirulina has been discussed.

Abstract
Microalgae are a diverse group of photosynthetic eukaryotic and prokaryotic microorganisms in different shapes and sizes that have evolved by being in stressful conditions and have devised mechanisms to maintain their survival. The production of unique biochemical compounds called bioactive compounds is one of these mechanisms. These compounds restore and heal the skin and protect the skin from damage caused by various factors, and in many cases these products are used in the treatment of diseases and cosmetic formulations. Today, cosmetic products derived from microalgae, which are environmentally friendly and safe, replaced the products in the market. In this review article, the potential of many species of microalgae and their derived bioactive molecules in the production of cosmetics is discussed. In addition to that, by presenting the current microalgae products in the global cosmetics market, it highlights the importance of these organisms in the use of microalgae in the production of quality cosmetics, and finally by providing suggestions such as encapsulating pigments to increase resistance and the stability of pigments envisages their greater use in the cosmetic industry in the future.

Abstract
Chitosan biopolymer, due to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, has become an ideal candidate for use in a wide range of cosmetic products and has opened up new horizons in the design of cosmetic formulations. The ability of this polymer to electrostatically interact with negatively charged surfaces (such as damaged skin) leads to the formation of polymeric films and ultimately imparts smoothness and moisture to cosmetic products. This review article revisits the potential of chitosan and its derivatives as raw materials in cosmetic and skincare products.

Abstract
Cosmetic products used around the eyes, such as kohl, eyeliner, eye pencil, mascara, and eyeshadow are of particular importance due to the sensitivity of the eyes and the potential for contamination. Among these, kohl is a traditional product widely used in Middle Eastern countries, especially among infants, based on the belief in its therapeutic and protective properties. However, kohl has been reported to contain the highest concentration of lead among these products. This study aimed to assess the lead content in different types of kohl, which is an important step toward raising awareness among consumers of this cosmetic-hygienic product. The objective of this systematic review was to evaluate studies published in recent years that investigated the lead content of kohls available on the Iranian market. To achieve this, a comprehensive search was conducted in national and international databases including Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct, Google Scholar using relevant keywords. Findings indicate that in some cases, the concentration of lead in tradithinal or handmade kohls greatly exceeded the permissible limits. Repeated or prolonged use particularly in children can lead to elevated blood lead levels and symptoms of lead poisoning. Considering the health risks associated with this product, stricter monitoring of its production and distribution, as well as public education regarding the safe use of kohl, appears to be essential.

Abstract
Over the past two decades, nanotechnology has played a pivotal role in transforming the cosmetic and personal care industry, establishing itself as one of the most revolutionary achievements in materials science. The reduction of particle size to the nanometer scale, by increasing the specific surface area and enhancing physicochemical properties, has enabled improved skin penetration, increased stability of active compounds, and facilitated the targeted release of active ingredients, leading to the production of products with higher efficacy. However, concurrent with the expansion of this technology, concerns regarding the biosafety, potential toxicity, and environmental consequences of nanoparticles have been raised, highlighting the necessity for rigorous evaluation. Therefore, this article aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the advantages, limitations, and safety considerations associated with the application of nanotechnology in the cosmetic and personal care industry. In this analytical review, articles and sources published in reputable scientific databases between 2015 and 2025 were evaluated and analyzed. The results indicated that the utilization of nanostructures such as nanoliposomes, nanoemulsions, metallic nanoparticles, and lipid nanoparticles in the formulation of cosmetic products, while optimizing performance and increasing bioavailability, has created significant potential for innovation in this industry. Conversely, evidence has been reported regarding the induction of oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, and regulatory challenges in the context of long-term risk assessment. The application of nanotechnology in the cosmetic and personal care industry holds substantial innovative capacity and high added value; nevertheless, ensuring consumer safety necessitates long-term toxicological studies and the development of clear regulatory frameworks. Establishing a balance between industrial innovation and public health considerations is a fundamental condition for the sustainable development of this technology.

Abstract
Background: Dermal filler injections have gained increasing popularity for face augmentation, skin wrinkle treatment, and contouring. Although generally safe, complications may develop following filler administration. Granulomatous formation reactions to dermal fillers are important adverse reactions. Dental procedures are highly recognized to be a trigger for delayed granulomatous reactions at dermal filler field.
Case presentation:
Case 1: A 32-year-old woman presented with erythema, tenderness, and edema 6 months after ultra4 Juvéderm filler injection at left and right nasolabial folds and both lips. One month prior to the appearance of these symptoms, she had undergone dental scaling and polishing. Histopathological results showed granulomatous reaction to dermal filler. The patient was successfully treated with 2 doses of intralesional corticosteroid injection.
Case 2: A 58-year-old woman presented with nodular growths on her left marionette line and right nasolabial fold subsequent to dental scaling and polishing. Two years prior, she had received injections of Ellansé and Lunaphil Volume dermal filler at both nasolabial folds. An ultrasound examination confirmed a granulomatous response to dermal fillers. The symptoms significantly improved after 2 doses of intralesional corticosteroid injection.
Case 3: A 48-year-old woman, developed a tender erythematous induration in the nasolabial folds where she had received Ellansé filler injection 4 years earlier. The symptoms appeared one month after a surgery on buccal area. Ultrasonography revealed granuloma formation. A regimen of systemic and intralesional corticosteroids resulted in a significant improvement of the symptoms.
Conclusion: These cases highlight dental procedures as a clinically shown factor for granulomatous responses following dermal filler injections, including dental and surgical interventions. More research is required to enhance understanding of the mechanisms and risk factors involved.
