Abstract
Background: Identification of development needs is a first important step in a systematic management development effort. This study aimed at assessing management development needs from the viewpoint of middle managers of hospitals affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the hospitals affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The population study was 227 of middle managers employed in 16 hospitals. Data were collected using a 42-items questionnaire which its reliability and validity was confirmed. Data were analyzed using main components analysis in software SPSS17. Results: designing and innovation indicator among managerial roles, human skills indicators in managerial skills, psychological abilities among managerial talents, social trust in personal characteristics, comprehensive thinking indicator in philosophic mindedness and leadership in managerial knowledge components were the most important from the perspective of the middle managers Conclusion: managers play the specific managerial roles in order to perform their managerial tasks. They need to develop administrative skills, abilities, knowledge, personality and philosophic mindedness to play the best managerial roles.

Abstract
Background : Raising number of elderly people in Iran causes new concerns .One of the important issues is Social support. Social support can be critical for older adults because of their common disabilities and unavoidable dependency to maintain and improve of their health status
Materials and Methods: Questionnaires which had been used for measurement of health status and elderly social support has been collected and combined through searching resources in library and web. 5 district ions of Tehran were selected randomly in order to have a efficient sample size .The questionnaires were filled by 140 elders whom were staying in residential homes and 280 above 60 years elderlies whom were living with their families. The date were analyzed by SPSS software.
Results: 406 questionnaires among 420 questionnaires were filled which showed 96.6%. rate of responsibility. Data analysis showed a correlation between status of physical, mental and social health social support.
Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between Social support and physical ,mental, and social status of health

Abstract
Background: One of the main goals of health sector evolution plan is reducing the amount of out of pocket payment by patients receiving hospital services in public sectors. This study aimed to assess the amount of out of pocket payment by inpatients in public hospitals affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Tehran city in 2015.
Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 405 discharged patients from four public and teaching hospitals were selected using convenient sampling method. Data were collected using a researcher made checklist and investigating the hospital bills. In order to data analysis, descriptive statistics and regression analysis were utilized through SPSS Software version16.
Results: The amount of out of pocket payment was 10.2 percent included 9.9 percent formal payment, 0.2 percent bought & brought goods and 0.1 percent informal payment. The most portion of the hospital costs was related to medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, surgeries services and hosteling with 32.6, 20.6 and 17.36, respectively. Type of hospital, having surgery, average length of stay, family size and gender had significant effect on the out of pocket payment amount (p ≤ 0.05).
Conclusion: The amount of out of pocket payment by inpatient in public hospitals was in accordance with goal of the health sector evolution plan, which reveals the appropriate government support. It is recommended to tailor and implement enormous plans regarding outpatients and private sector in national level to attain sustained reduction in out of pocket payment.

Abstract
Background: Quality of life is a mental issue that causes a person to be affected by various factors including self-efficacy. The roadmap in this field is family-centered empowerment, which aims to promote health. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of family-centered empowerment model on quality of life and self-efficacy of kidney transplant patients.
Materials and Method: This study is a randomized controlled clinical trial. 100 kidney transplant patients, who came to Shahid Hasheminejad Hospital, were divided into two groups of control and intervention by initial accidental sampling. Data collection tools were a three-part questionnaire includes of demographic characteristics, quality of life of patients of kidney transplant questionnaire (KTQ-25) and the questionnaire of health empowerment to survey about self-care (SUPPH). These questionnaires were completed by both groups once the study was initiated and another time 1.5 months after intervention. Data were analyzed by SPSS software (version 20), chi-square and T-test.
Results: findings demonstrated that when the study was initiated there was not any significance difference between these two groups in terms of demographic quantitative and qualitative characteristics and mean of quality of life and self-efficacy. In compared with control group, mean of quality of life of intervention group was increased. Statistically, it has a significance difference (0<0.001). Also, in comparison with control group, the score of self-efficacy promoted and it has a significance difference.
Conclusion: Considering the positive effect of family-centered empowerment model on self-efficacy of kidney transplant patients and finally on their quality of life, it is necessary to consider this model with the aim of promoting patients' health.

Abstract
Introduction: Despite many challenges, public-private partnership in hospitals is recognized as one of the most attractive investment platforms for the private sector. This study conducted to assess the challenges of private sector partnership with public hospitals using the public-private partnership model in public hospitals in Yazd.
Methods: The present qualitative research conducted in 2021. The viewpoints of 15 faculty members, directors, managers and operational experts on the participation of the private sector, those related to the transfer and contracts and the parties of the private sector are extracted through a semi-structured interview guide and analyzed using content analysis in three stages.
Results: A total of 10 main themes including economic and policymaking problems, insufficient manpower readiness, lack of support authority, weak partnership laws, lack of knowledge and experience of managers in partnership, lack of financial transparency, conflict of interest, poor coordination, lack of cultural readiness and trust-building and lack of plans and supervision in the field of partnership in 28 sub-themes extracted.
Conclusion: There are challenges related to policymaking issues and the resulting instability, incoordination of different units, unpreparedness of manpower and contract details in using different models of public-private partnership in hospitals, in which the use of the same procedures, transparency and the meeting requirements of the private sector are recommended for partnership and the formulation of laws and contracts free from any shortcomings and weaknesses that could lead to the loss of the public sector.

Abstract
Background and purpose: Considering the dimensions of organizational bullying and the context of its creation in the emergency department of the hospital, the decrease in the quality of patient care and the increase in dissatisfaction with the services received and the limited research studies in this area, the research was conducted in the emergency department of a hospital of Yazd University of Medical Sciences.
Materials and methods: To carry out this descriptive-analytical research, the interpretive structural modeling method was used. The experts included 30 doctors, nurses, and nurses who were either working in the emergency department of a Yazd University of Medical Sciences hospital or had experience of service in this department. From the extraction of these factors, they were returned to them for scoring, and the effects of these factors were measured from their point of view, and the final analysis was done by MATLAB software.
Results: The results show that the greatest effect in reducing bullying is related to "adequate training for personnel to communicate" and "proper and courteous treatment in the face of clients" (with influence power of 5) and the least effect is related to "creating a suitable comfortable environment". and "Perform appropriate triage" (with penetration power of 1).
Conclusion: Considering the destructive effects of bullying, creating appropriate mechanisms to reduce this phenomenon shown in this research and using the factors identified by the people involved in bullying can prevent this phenomenon, which occurs frequently in the emergency room of the hospital.

Abstract
Background and purpose: This research was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between the implementation of the strategic plan and the performance of the hospital. The importance of knowing the factors affecting the implementation of the strategic plan and its identification leads to better planning and the correct implementation of the strategic planning process.
Methods: The current research is a descriptive analytical research, in terms of cross-sectional time and practical results, and it was carried out in 2018. The research population is all the people who have played a role in the drafting of the strategic plan. This research has used the census, which filled the questionnaire in a high percentage of the statistical population. After collecting the data, the information was entered into the software and SPSS version 16 software was used to analyze the data.
Findings: The relationship between the implementation of the strategic plan and the performance of the hospital is direct and strong. Among all parts of the strategic plan, customer management plays a more important role than other parts of the strategic plan in improving the performance of the hospital.
Conclusion: In order to have optimal performance in a hospital, we need detailed strategic planning, and this plan must be implemented carefully and properly monitored so that it can bring us optimal performance.

Abstract
Background: Cancer is often stigmatized in many societies and this has unfortunate consequences for sufferers. The aim of this research was to know the factors related to the social stigma of cancer.
Materials and Methods: The research method was correlation-analytical, and the sampling method was multi-stage cluster. Data were collected using CSI and CAM standard questionnaires.The statistical population included three categories of ordinary citizens, medical staff, and companions of patients in Tehran; Using Cochran's formula, the sample size was 384, 201, 384 people, respectively. In order to fit the model and measure the relationships between the variables, the method of structural equation modeling was used in the form of AMOS software.
Findings: Goodness of fit indices (chi-square/df=2.851, Rmsea=0.08, Cfi=0.945) all indicated the appropriate fit of the model. Except for the variable of inequality in treatment, other independent variables had a significant relationship with stigma. The r2 explanatory coefficient showed that the variables of habitus, optimism, cancer awareness, religiosity, social support, and social capital together predicted 48% of stigma changes. Habitus and social support with standard coefficients (beta) of 0.48 and -0.28 had the highest and lowest contribution in explaining stigma, respectively. Based on the mean difference test, the amount of stigma among ordinary people was more than the other two groups.
Conclusion: Awareness of different aspects of cancer disease (such as symptoms, causative factors), removing false stereotypes about cancer (such as cancer means death), constant communication with cancer patients, and receiving the necessary social support from various sources, were the most important tools necessary to reduce the stigma of cancer.

Abstract
Background and Purpose: The purpose of this study is to validate the model of organizational evolution in hospitals affiliated with the Bushehr University of Medical Sciences.
Materials and Methods: This study was applied in terms of its purpose and quantitative in terms of its implementation method, employing a structural modeling approach. The statistical population in this part of the research included all managers, deputies, and experts in the field of the subject studied in Bushehr hospitals, totaling 130 individuals. A sample size of 100 was determined using Morgan's table and was selected via simple stratified random sampling. The research tool was a researcher-developed questionnaire. The questions and items of the questionnaire were compiled using research literature, theoretical foundations, and the results of a qualitative study. The face and content validity was confirmed by experts, and its reliability was obtained with a Cronbach's alpha method result of 0.976. Data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling method in SMART PLS software. Results: The findings of this research demonstrated that the structural model of organizational evolution has 43 sub-components across six components: causal conditions, background, mediating, central phenomenon, strategies, and outcomes. All variables obtained can be considered in the design of the final model. In conclusion, the effectiveness of each variable was discussed and analyzed from an existential perspective. The results indicated that the causal conditions, background conditions, intervening factors, and outcomes in the model of organizational evolution in hospitals affiliated with Bushehr University of Medical Sciences were significant.
Conclusion: The results showed that the model of organizational evolution in hospitals affiliated with Bushehr University of Medical Sciences is valid.

Abstract
Background and purpose: The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a significant shock to healthcare systems worldwide, including Iran. The mental health of nurses, who have been at the forefront of the fight against the virus, has been profoundly impacted. This study aims to examine the mental health status of Iranian nurses during the pandemic.
Methods: This rapid review was conducted by searching keywords such as "Mental Health," "Nurse," and "COVID-19" in databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Mag Iran, and Civilica. Articles were selected based on their titles, abstracts, and full texts in alignment with the study’s research objectives.
Results: The reviewed studies revealed a range of mental health disorders among nurses working in COVID-19 wards, with stress, anxiety, and depression being the most common. Several factors, such as demographic variables and the specific departments where nurses served, were identified as influencing their mental health. Given that the mental health of nurses affects the quality of care, resilience, and job satisfaction, various strategies have been proposed to improve their mental health.
Conclusion: The findings suggest that the mental health status of nurses is not at an optimal level, and neglecting this issue could lead to long-term harm to the healthcare system and its economic stability. It is recommended that healthcare managers and policymakers implement appropriate measures to address this critical concern.
