Abstract
Background and purpose: Hospital is the largest and most important executive unit of healthcare system therefore, full consideration of how to assess its quality is of particular importance. A question is always raised as how to evaluate the quality of the services. The current study seeks to provide a fuzzy model for assessing the service quality in this healthcare sector.
Material and method: The present cross-sectional study was conducted in two hospitals in Zahedan 2012.Via reviewing the related literature, the dimensions and components of service quality assessment were identified. The SERVQUAL questionnaire for hierarchical analyses was designed and the fuzzy AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) model was presented. SPSS v 10.0 and Fuzzy TOPSIS Solver 2013 software were used to analyze data.
Results: The findings indicated that the most important dimension for estimating the quality of healthcare services was empathy. Responsiveness, assurance, and tangible assets were the last important factors. The hospitals were compared using fuzzy AHP. According to the calculations, the ranking of the hospitals based on their performance was as follows: Imam Ali hospital with 31% compared to Social Security hospital with 29% had a better performance in service quality.
Conclusion: The results revealed that hospitals needed to focus more on empathy, expertise and reliability than providing high quality and satisfactory services. By considering their weaknesses, each of these hospitals can enhance service quality and consequently, provide a better service for patients.

Abstract
Abstract
Background: Zone 3 of Zahedan City includes the most deprived areas in province and country. The purpose of this research was assessing the distribution of the health care center (hospitals) and determining the underserved areas based on hospital locating concidering standards and criteria.
Materials and Methods: In order to achieve accurate results based on GIS software, spatial and descriptive data using statistics and field observation gathered and connected to database. Besides, AHP Model used to set priorities in locating the optimal urban spaces for building hospitals in the city.
Results: Suitable zone with special symbol severance divide from another zones was determine to develop landuse based on dependency to health care centers aimed at providing services in local level . Similarly, two Places recommended constructing health care centers in complete suitable zone. Unsuitable and compeletly Unsouitable zones was determined in zone three of zahedan city in finaly map.
Conclusion: study analysis based on urben percapita, population and needed availibilty to health care centers suggests that Zahedan city need two new hospitals setting which has been indexed on final map.

Abstract
Background: The main mission of hospital is to promote care quality for patients and to meet their needs and expectations. The present study aims at identifying and prioritizing the patients’ expectations of the hospital services quality, which is considered to be the first step toward accomplishing such an important mission.
Material & Methods: The present study is descriptive and applied. The data was collected through pairwise comparisons questionnaire that was distributed among 150 patients in a public hospital in Bandar Abbas, 104 patients filled out the questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by the use of AHP.
Results: The results show that among the different dimensions of hospital service quality investigated in the present study, the patients listed 5 main dimensions in order of priority: accessibility (0.251), medical services(0.232), environment(0.202), administration(0.160), and relation(0.155). Among different criteria, access to medicine and blood(0.054) was the first priority and attention to the patient(0.010) was the low priority.
Conclusion: Due to the key role of the patients in defining and assessment of service quality, the present study presents a framework for evaluation of hospital service quality according which the priorities of patients were determined. The managers are advised to prioritize the quality improvement practices based on the patients’ priorities in order to satisfy the patients and make the processes customer-oriented.

Abstract
Background: Length of stay is one of the most important and practical indices used in hospitals today which represents the performance and efficiency of the hospitals. This study aimed to identify the factors affecting length of stay in hospitals affiliated to Tehran and Iran Universities of Medical Sciences based on Hierarchical Analysis Technique.
Materials and Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2013. Study population consisted of 40 participants using purposive sampling method in the two groups including 13 matrons (nursing managers) and 27 supervisors (Clinical and educational) of hospitals affiliated to Tehran and Iran Universities of Medical Sciences. Data collection tool was the paired comparisons questionnaire which was confirmed validity by experts using Lawshe and reliability by Inconsistency Ratio. Data analysis was performed using Expert Choice software version 11.
Results: In general, in the studied hospitals, study results revealed that the "diagnostic, treatment and care methods (treatment efficacy)” with the mean of 21.4% and "admission and discharge in the end days of the week and the days off” with an average of 0.36 were the highest and the lowest priority is given to other factors affecting the length of stay of the patient,respectively.
Conclusion: Efficacy of provided treatment through using equipment, appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and factors related to hospital manpower were effective on length of stay in quantitative and qualitative dimensions. These important issues need more planning and pay attention by hospital officials.

Abstract
Field of study and Goals: The provision of medical services and the distribution of agonist drugs in substance abuse treatment centers has led to a lack of attention to patients' treatment plans and a greater focus on drug distribution. In order to separate health and pharmaceutical services that are provided for opioid addicts in drug addiction treatment centers, a study has been designed with the aim of locating the selected pharmacy for the distribution of agonist drugs in District 21 of Tehran Municipality with a spatial approach.
Materials and Methods: This applied research is a descriptive-analytical method. The spatial and descriptive data were collected from the municipality organization and treatment and food and medicine departments of Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services and they were analyzed using ArcGIS software. Distribution of pharmacies and drug addiction treatment centers in the study area, locating the appropriate areas, and locating the selected pharmacy were studied by using the kernel density estimation functions, hierarchical analysis, and location model - allocation in two regional and district modes with maximum coverage of drug addiction treatment centers, respectively and analyzed using SPSS software and t-test.
Results: This study shows that the distribution of pharmacies and population in different regions of the study area is commensurate. Based on the results of locating using hierarchical analysis method, all pharmacies in the study area are appropriate to be the pharmacy for distributing the agonist drugs, and the results of the location model – allocation shows that the average time, and distance to access to the selected district pharmacy is 17 minutes and 5.9 km, respectively and for the regional pharmacy is 2 minutes and 0.7 km, respectively.
Conclusion: Separation of medical services and distribution of agonist drugs is essential. The findings of this study indicate that the distribution of agonist drugs through selected regional pharmacies increases access to medicine and the satisfaction of patients.

Abstract
Background and purpose: Pharmaceutical pollutants in hospital wastewater pose significant environmental and public health risks. This study aimed to identify and prioritize effective strategies for removing these contaminants from the wastewater of selected hospitals in Markazi Province, Iran.
Methods: This descriptive-analytical study employed a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach. Initially, a comprehensive review of scientific literature, expert interviews, and consultation with professionals in environmental health and wastewater treatment was conducted. Relevant strategies and prioritization criteria were identified using MAXQDA 2022. Subsequently, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was applied using Expert Choice version 11 software to assign weights to criteria and rank the identified strategies.
Results: Five key treatment strategies were identified: (1) integrated biological, physical, and chemical treatment methods (hybrid systems), (2) advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), (3) aerobic and anaerobic biological reactors, (4) membrane filtration, and (5) activated carbon adsorption. The prioritization was based on five criteria: (1) pollutant removal efficiency (0.357), (2) environmental compatibility (0.241), (3) implementation and operational costs (0.198), (4) technology durability and sustainability (0.123), and (5) implementation complexity and feasibility (0.081). The final priority scores of the strategies were 0.312, 0.256, 0.211, 0.134, and 0.087, respectively.
Conclusion: The findings indicate that hybrid treatment systems combining biological, chemical, and physical processes offer the most effective strategy for eliminating pharmaceutical pollutants in hospital wastewater. These insights can guide healthcare policymakers and hospital administrators in selecting optimal wastewater treatment methods, contributing to environmental protection and water quality improvement.
