Abstract
Background and Aim: Emotional intelligence Skills is highly crucial in career success and achivement critical responsibilities accompolishments. Psychologists believe that 20% and 80% of individuals’ success depends on IQ and emotional intelligence (EQ) respectively. This study is aimed to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance among the staff of Shariati Hospital at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2016.
Materials and Methods: In a descriptive-analytical method, 1030 individuals from different units of shariati hospital`s staff were studied. 280 persons were randomly selected by using a Cochran formula. Two questionnaires regarding Schering Siberia emotional intelligence (1990) and Patterson job performance (1975) were used after being validated through experts and specialists` view and reliablity analysis (Cronbach's alpha values of questionare of emotional intelligence=0.734 and job performance=0.768). The data were analysed by use of descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation test and Friedman test.
Results: The total studied staff was included 73% women 62% married and 67% college education. The average emotional intelligence rating was 182 (with IE of 34) and average job performance was 109 (with IE of 22).The result showed a significant correlation between emotional intelligence and job performance (p=0.030). Using Friedman statistical test, ranking of emotional intelligence components were conducted; the self-awareness and social skills had the first and fourth rank respectively.
Conclusion: Training and the improvement of emotional intelligence skills and capabilities can be used to enhance the process of the hospital staff recrument andimprove their performance level.

Abstract
Background and Aim: One of the most important challenges in the field of research information management is the use of reliable and qualified software to manage research resources in health domain. This study aimed to develop a validation tools for research information management systems in Iran to utilize by universities in the process of using existing research information management systems.
Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive study conducted in two stages. In the first stage, a validation tool for research information management systems (Pajoohan, Pajooheshyar, Jiro, Yektaweb, Kuiper) was designed, and in the next stage, in order to ensure the validity of the produced tool, a self-assessment survey was conducted by users of research information management systems in medical sciences universities. Therefore, this tool was completed by 104 researchers from all over the country. The collected data were analyzed by Excel and SPSS software.
Results: The developed validation tool of research information management systems included four components and 82 indicators: software design and architecture (17 indicators), usability and user environment (16 indicators), professional use (36 indicators) and management (13 indicators). Based on the self-declared results of the users, this tool has 57 mandatory features, 26 preferred and 4 optional features. The results of the validation of research information management systems based on this tool showed that the highest rank in the component of architecture, professional use and software management was related to the Kuiper system, and in the component of usability and user environment was related to the Pajoohan system. In the self-declaration done by the users ,12 cases of Jiro system ,11 cases of Kuiper system ,11 cases of Pajoohan system ,7 cases of Pajooheshyar, and 5 cases of Yektaweb system have received confirmation above 75%.
Conclusions: The validation tool which developed by this study can be used in the evaluation of current research information management systems and the selection of new systems for use in the research field. In addition, it can be used to improve current systems and purchase new systems by academic universities and research centers.

Abstract
Background and Aim: Health literacy is recognized as a key determinant of health and is a central focus of public health policy strategies. The present study aimed to assess the health literacy level and identify the factors influencing it among the clients of comprehensive health service centers in Ilam city.
Materials and Methods: In 2022, a descriptive-analytical study was conducted to examine 429 clients aged 18-65 years who visited comprehensive selected health service centers in Ilam city. For adults the data collection tool used was the Helia health literacy questionnaire. Sampling was conducted in nine clusters, with each cluster consisting of 50 samples. The data was analyzed using SPSS software, which included descriptive statistical tests, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and one-way analysis of variance, with a significance level set at 0.05.
Results: Based on the results, the average health literacy score was 80.16 ± 16.50. In terms of health literacy, 18.97% of people had inadequate or not very adequate health literacy, while 44.39% of the participants had excellent health literacy. The average health literacy scores across different dimensions are as follows: access to health information 65.74, comprehension of information 81/81, reading information skills 12.74, evaluation of information 05.75, and decision making and behavior based on information 61.92. A significant relationship was observed between job, education, and income variables and various dimensions of average health literacy (p-value≤0.001). However, there was no significant relationship between general health literacy and age, gender, and place of residence (P≤0.05).
Conclusion: The results of the present study demonstrate that vulnerable groups have significantly lower literacy levels. Furthermore, given the impact of education on enhancing people’s health literacy, it is advisable to leverage mass media, social networks, and educational centers to enhance literacy levels as a potential factor in community health.
