Abstract

 Background and Aim: Since employees satisfaction have important effects on achieving the goals of organizations and also organizational justice is a key factor in employees satisfaction, The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior in selected hospitals of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

 Materials and Methods: This study was a descriptive and cross-sectional analysis. The study sample was composed of 312 employees from selected hospitals of Tehran University of Medical Sciences by cluster Stratified Random sampling. Data collected by using two questionnaires: Moorman& Niehoff Organizational Justice and Yaghoobi Organizational Citizenship Bahavior. The questionnaires reliability was supported and based on Cronbach s Alfa (OJ=94%, OCB=93%) and questionnaire validity was confirmed by specialist point of view. Data was analyzed by SPSS 18 software.

 Results: The result of analysis revealed that Hasheminejad hospital had the highest score of organizational citizenship behavior in all dimensions except for altruismin dimension. The score in each of the dimensions for organizational justice except for interactional justice in Hasheminejad hospital were the highest There was significant relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior in the following dimensions: Altruism, Conscientiousness, Courtesy, Sportsmanship (p=0/0001). 

 Conclusion: As shown, there was a relationship between organizational justice and all aspect of organizational citizenship behavior in selected hospitals and also there was a positive relationship between involving staffs in organizationl activities with facilitating achievement of organizational goals and improvement of hospital performance, Therefore, strategies should be adopted in line with organizational justice to increase citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Background and Aim: Research in the medical field requires large budgets, specialist human resources and modern equipment and instruments. Scientific collaboration is a way to overcome such problems. Main goal of this study was analyzing scientific collaboration of universities of medical sciences in different aspects.
Materials and Methods: In this research, by using scientometrics methods and social network analysis techniques, the Universities of Medical Sciences co-authorship network was mapped. Source of collecting Data, was Web Of Science database. For mapping and analyzing of scientific networks, we used Bibexcel, VOSviewer, Pajek and UCINET software.
Results: Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, with 933 co-authorship papers are in the first place in scientific collaboration among Iranian Universities of Medical Sciences. And at the international level, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences has more scientific collaboration than other Iranian universities with the University of Malaya. Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, have significant position in terms of centrality index in co-authorship network.
Conclusion: Medical sciences researchers have very strong tendency to make scientific collaboration with Tehran University of Medical Sciences researchers. For this reason, scientific collaboration network has become a monopoly network around Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This form of collaboration prevents creation of opportunities for collaboration.

Abstract

Background and Aim: Budgeting in the health system plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of healthcare services, increasing equitable access to health care, and reducing costs. Financial decision-making based on scientific data and evidence can improve the efficiency of the health system and ensure equity in resource allocation. This study aimed to examine the scientific status and trends of published literature on budgeting methods in the health system using bibliometric analysis to assist policymakers in making better financial decisions.
Materials and Methods: This study is a bibliometric review with a descriptive–analytical approach, analyzing 222 scientific documents indexed in Scopus between 1974 and 2024. Data were analyzed using Excel, Bibexcel, VOSviewer, and Gephi software to map the knowledge structure, co-word relationships, and international collaborations in this field.
Results: The United States (30%), Taiwan (15%), and Canada (10%) were the leading contributors to scientific output in this field. Journal articles comprised nearly 90% of all publications. The most frequent keywords were “budget,” “health care cost,” and “financial management,” reflecting a strong emphasis on cost control and resource management. Three main budgeting approaches were identified: performance-based, traditional (historical), and needs-based. Traditional budgeting remains dominant in developing countries, particularly where information infrastructure and managerial capacity are limited. International collaboration involved 18 countries, with the strongest cooperation observed between the United States and Taiwan.
Conclusion: Improving the health budgeting system requires strengthening information systems, training managers, and enhancing international scientific collaboration. Resource allocation based on scientific data and bibliometric insights can optimize resource distribution and enhance equity in access to health services. Such measures would lead to greater health system efficiency and more comprehensive financial decision-making.
