Abstract

Introduction and objectives: Despite the advances in the control of food-borne diseases, still one of the dilemmas in the health of most societies and a matter of concern for health authorities is food poi­soning and food-borne diseases by unsafe foods.

Materials and methods: In total 390 samples, including 195 samples of raw kebabs and hamburgers and 195 samples of the cooked ones were gathered from shops, sampling raw and cooked meat at the same time, and they were sent to the laboratory for testing, over a period of one year. The methods used for the tests were based on the Iranian National Standard procedures, numbers 356 and 2394.

Results: All the cooked specimens had bacterial contamination in acceptable standard levels and there­fore were considered consumable. From the 165 raw kebab samples, 90 samples (54.5%) were con­sumable but 75 samples (45.5%) were not fit for consumption, where from 30 raw hamburger samples, 22 samples (73.3%) were consumable and 8 (26.7%) were inconsumable. In serological evaluations, Thompson serotype had the highest prevalence in kebab and hamburger samples.

Conclusion: The results of present study show that there is no reason for concern in consuming cooked kebabs.

Abstract

Background And Aim: Nowadays university websites are very important in information services. There fore university has designed website for categorizing and availability of mass of information . This study accomplish to purpose evaluated of Tehran university of medicine sciences website base on webometrics criteria on 2008 .

Materials and Methods: This survey have been used link analysis methods by four criteria : visibility , size , rich file and google scholar . The situation of Tehran university of medicine sciences website has surveyed . Data gathering tools at webometrics survey are search engines . Data are gathering at google , yahoo, live search and exalead search engine . For data analysis used Excel software.

Results: Findings showed that , visibility of Tehran university of medicine sciences website with 9562 inlinks are weak , nevertheless published research at google scholar with 12100 articles , have suitable ranked in region and world. also size of university website depended to indexing of search engine , web of university often indexing at google and yahoo , less than at live search and exalead .10813 pages published at Rich files format on google , website of university tend to publish rich files as format of .pdf and then .Doc and .ppt . Average load time for tums with 4.2 second is not desirable.

Discussion and Conclusion: Number of papers and citations for tums domain at google scholar is very good at world and middle east. Number of pages recovered from Google, Yahoo in Persian language are optimum but pages from Live Search and Exalead in English language is not favorable . The total number of unique external links received to tums website from Iranian university website is good but from international and information institution is low .

Abstract

Background and Aim: Work-family conflict and spillover are among threatening factors in hospital environment for nurses’ well being. The present research aimed to study the relationship of work-family conflict and spillover to affective well being among nurses.

Materials and Methods: The research method was correlational and the statistical population consisted of female nurses of two public hospitals, among whom 197 persons were selected using availability sampling method.­ Data gathering instruments were the previously made questionnaires including work-family conflict questionnaire, work-family spillover questionnaire and affective well being questionnaire. The reliability and validity of the instruments were verified and the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. 

Results: The results of regression analysis revealed that work-family conflict had a significant predictive power for the prediction of negative and positive affect. Also, the results of regression analysis revealed that homework spillover had a significant predictive power for the prediction of negative affect and that free time spillover had a significant predictive power for the prediction of positive affect.

Conclusion: The results of the present study showed that work-family conflict and spillover could cause problems to nurses’ affective well being. Therefore, it is necessary that nurses be trained to manage work-family conflict and spillover in a suitable way.
