The arte ry originated f rom t he common carotid 31 mm p rox imal t o its bifurcation . Rega r d i ng t o the s ex , the s i de and p lace o f o r i g i n , this could be a unique case , suggesting a need for more awarene s s o f any unpredictable anomal y whi ch may be s een i n th i s a r ter y t o avo id serious problems during s ur ger y on the thyroid gland . |
