During the recent years, the Iranian Journal of Neurology has undergone almost a chaotic situation. The irregular circulation, the lack of a Referee system & the right selection of the articles and an unsuitable quality of the journal within the last year didn’t match with the prestige of the Iranian Neurology Association. The journal, that stands before you, as the first number of the new series, has been compiled with the ameliorating aim of eliminating the deficiencies. Apart from the standardization of Journal’s site, Referee system and standard ways of the papers submission, it has been divided into different categories. Iranian Neurology Association as the owner and Tehran University of Medical Sciences now as the publisher, aim at including the journal contents in the PubMed soon while their future goal is Scopus and ISI indexing of this journal. All these goals yet will be not attainable, unless with the consensus efforts of all the members of Neurology Association of Iran. |
