متاسنتز تحقيقات کيفی در علوم بهداشتی |

انجام تحقيقات کيفی در علوم بهداشتی رو به افزايش است. هر يک از اين تحقيقات فقط گوشهای از حقايق مربوط به پديده مورد بررسی را بازگو میکند و به تنهائی تفسيری جامع و همهگير از آن ارائه نمیدهد. شايد به همين دليل نتايج اين تحقيقات کمتر در سياستگذاریها و ارائه خدمات بهداشتی استفاده میگردد. متاستنز شيوهای است که در آن نتايج گروهی از تحقيقات کيفی کنار هم گذاشته میشود و محصول نهائی مفهوم و تفسيری جامع و نو از پديده مورد بررسی ارائه میدهد. در محصول نهايی متاسنتز همزمان نتايج پژوهش های اوليه قابل جستجو هستند. فقدان مقالهای به زبان فارسی در شرح اين شيوه نوين، نويسندگان اين مقاله را بر آن داشت تا با نگارش اين مقاله دستاندرکاران علوم بهداشتی از جمله محققين و دانشجويان را با چگونگی و مراحل مختلف انجام متاسنتز آشنا ساخته و آنان را تشويق به استفاده هر چه بيشتر از نتايج مطالعات کيفی در زمينههای مختلف علوم بهداشتی نمايند. در اين مقاله به موارد زير در انجام متاسنتز اشاره شده است: تعريف، ضرورت و چگونگی انجام متاسنتز، تعيين سوال تحقيق، انتخاب مطالعات واجد شرايط، آناليز مطالعات و نهايتا انجام دهنده متاسنتز. محتوای اين مقاله علاوه بر دستاندرکاران و دانشجويان علوم بهداشتی، برای استفاده محققين و دانشجويان در ساير رشتههای وابسته و مرتبط نظير علوم اجتماعی نيز کاربرد خواهد داشت. |

The popularity of qualitative research in the health sciences is steadily increasing. However individual qualitative research, alone, is unable to provide a comprehensive and broad understanding of the phenomenon under study. This may be the reason why the results of these studies are uncommonly used by health policy makers. Meta-synthesis is a method in which the results of a body of qualitative research are aggregated in order to produce a new and comprehensive interpretation of the studied phenomenon, in such a way that the final result still represents and includes the findings of the original studies. The lack of a comprehensive article in Farsi language in this field, encouraged the authors to write this paper to introduce this method and explain some of its essential components to familiarize health professionals, including researchers and students, with meta-synthesis. In this article, the following components of meta-synthesis are described: the definition, the necessity and the how-to of meta-synthesis; a determining research question, the selection and analysis of the original studies, and lastly, meta-synthesis conductors. |
