مقايسه‌ی درک پرستاران و نوجوانان بستری از اهميت و رعايت ارتباط پرستار و بيمار |

توانايی پرستار در برقراری ارتباط با بيماران برای استفاده‌ی مؤثر از فرايند پرستاری ضروری است. اين مسأله در مورد نوجوانان بيمار اهميت بيش‌تری دارد. برقراری ارتباط مناسب بين نوجوان و کادر درمانی امری حياتی است. در اين گونه ارتباطات است که نوجوانان قادر به افشاء و ابراز اطلاعات حساس و شخصی خواهند شد و پرستاران نيز قادر به انتقال اطلاعات، نگرش‌ها يا مهارت‌های ضروری از طريق اقدامات ارتقاء دهنده‌ی سلامتی خواهند بود. اين مطالعه با هدف مقايسه‌ی درک پرستاران و نوجوانان بستری از ميزان اهميت و رعايت ارتباطات پرستار و بيمار صورت گرفت.
در اين مطالعهی مقطعی، 175 پرستار و 180 نوجوان بستری (18- 12 سال) که معيارهای ورود به مطالعه را دارا بودند به ترتيب به روش سرشماری و نمونه‌گيری آسان انتخاب شدند. محل جمع‌آوری داده‌ها بيمارستان‌های کودکان وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران، ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها پرسشنامه و روش گردآوری آن‌ها خودگزارشی بود. تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها به کمک نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS صورت گرفت.
يافته‌های اين پژوهش نشان داد بين درک پرستاران و نوجوانان بستری در زمينه‌ی اهميت ارتباط پرستار و بيمار (019/0 = P) و رعايت آن (001/0 > P)، تفاوت آماری معنی‌داری وجود دارد و نمره‌ی درک پرستاران در هر دو مورد از نوجوانان بستری بالاتر است. در اين مطالعه اولويت‌های اهميت و رعايت نيز تعيين شد و نتايج نشان داد از ديدگاه پرستاران توضيح مراقبت‌های پيگيری مورد نياز بعد از ترخيص، و از ديدگاه نوجوانان برقراری ارتباط کلامی مناسب و گوش دادن با حوصله به صحبت‌های آنان اهميت بيش‌تری دارد و از ديدگاه دو گروه برقراری ارتباط کلامی و غيرکلامی مناسب بيش‌تر رعايت می‌شود.
با استفاده از يافته‌های اين پژوهش، می‌توان پرستاران را در جهت فراهم نمودن مواردی که از ديدگاه نوجوانان اهميت دارد و کم‌تر رعايت می‌شود راهنمايی نمود تا بتوانند موانع سر راه رعايت ارتباط مناسب پرستار و بيمار را برطرف نمايند. |

Nursing-patient relationship: a comparison between nurses and adolescents perceptions |

Nurses' ability to communicate with patients is essential for the effectiveness of the nursing process. This factor is more significant in the case of adolescent patients. Appropriate communication between adolescent patients and health care staff is crucial, since it contributes to the patients disclosing important personal information, and helps nurses communicate necessary information, viewpoints or skills through health promotion measures. The present study aimed to draw a comparison between nurses’ and hospitalized adolescents’ understanding of the significance of the nurse-patient relationship and the observance thereof. In this cross-sectional study, 175 nurses and 180 hospitalized adolescents (12-18 years of age) were selected through simple random sampling respectively, all of whom met the criteria necessary to enter the study. The data was collected from children’s hospitals affiliated with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and the data collection tools were self-report questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS statistical software. Findings of this study showed that there was a significant statistical difference between the understanding of nurses and hospitalized adolescents regarding the importance of the nurse-patient relationship (P=0.019) and its observance (P0.001), and the nurses scored a better understanding than adolescent patients in both cases. This paper also investigated the priorities of each group regarding the significance and observance of the nurse-patient relationship. The results showed that nurses viewed explaining the necessary follow-up care after discharge as the most important part, while adolescent patients believed that proper verbal communication and being listened to patiently were of great significance. Both groups seemed to observe proper verbal and non-verbal communication according to the results of this paper. The findings of this research proved that nurses can be directed to achieve the less observed objectives that are viewed by adolescent patients as significant in order to eliminate the obstacles in proper nurse-patient relationship. |
